Why does Glenn Beck have disgust for & overlooks the Gingrich record on Israel, balanced budgets?
January 5, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

Can someone tell me why Glenn Beck has such digust for Newt Gingrich, without mentionning his conservative credentials on Israel and Balanced budgets? Glenn said on GBTV last night that he leaves political expertise to Rush Limbaugh. However, he does not mention that Rush is usually positive on Newt's conservative background. The vitrol toward Newt Gingrich from Glenn and his GBTV panelists seems to be unreasonable and coordinated. Any explanations would be appreciated.

Wow. Amazing.

Glenn is good with research, but he seems to be very selective with where he applies it. If he wanted to research Romney’s record, he could find out the truth about him very quickly. Maybe he doesn’t want to know the truth.

Medved was a radical left LEADER and writer in the past, over the years he became more centrist, but the thing that never changed was his revulsion at conservatives.

What separates Medved from other talk show hosts, is that Medved is a pure propagandist whose entire show is devoted to advancing only a couple of major themes for him, although the show seems much more diverse to a novice or casual listener.

After listening to him since he started, I label Michael Medved as the most purely dishonest, manipulative host on radio, oddly, he is also the only who on non propaganda days, is so unhappy to be at work that we wish he would use a substitute rather than force himself to be there (Medved is far too insecure for that though).

“God, Family, Country. In that order, if you have your priorities right.”

I’ve seen some interesting arguments for nation ahead of family. Not sold, but intrigued by the argument. It mostly derives from thinking in the early and mid Roman Republic. A very tough minded and austere culture to be sure. The argument is also with regard to the nation as a people and culture, not the government apparatus.

My anecdotal experience may have led me to a wrong conclusion here.

...uh...NO!

An oath taken by Romney AND Beck (if Beck is "worthy") numerous times in the mormon temple...

"You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the Law of Consecration as contained in the Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.

“So will you, unless you are saying you will vote for Obama against Romney.”

I will vote for Mark Levin’s famous empty orange juice can over both of those sociopaths.

[ Can someone tell me why Glenn Beck has such disgust for Newt Gingrich, ]

I can.. Newt brags about being a progressive himself and has Wilson both Roosevelt’s, and Truman as political heros..

And thinks most of America are progressives as well..
and are ignorant about what being a progressive means..

And he is RIGHT... most of america “IS” ignorant about what being a progressive means.. or worse.. DON’T CARE..

Did I mention ALL democrats, socialists, and communists are progressives?..

OK, using your logic, the only reason you don’t like Beck and Romney is because they are Mormons. You are making yourself out to be as bigoted as you are inferring Beck is. One in the same. You two could be pals. Think about it.

____________________________________________________________

No I dislike Romney because of his policy positions, Abortion Opposition to the Contract with America and Romneycare among them.

How does pointing out GB support of Romney due to them being members of the same religion make me a bigot?

If you points out that virtually every black person in America voted for Obama and that reace was a factor does that make someone a bigot?

Beck is backing the weakest candidate now that has zero chance so that he can say later when he switches his support to Romney, that he isn’t supporting him only because he is a Mormon and will then point out his previous support for Santorum as proof.

+1

“I don’t need to be supporting that kind of stupidity with my money. I cancelled GBTV right away. And this is coming from someone who really liked Beck and enjoyed his Fox show. He’s gone off the rails”

Exactly...........too bad I can’t get a partial refund on the yearly subscription to GBTV.

Could be because Newt is a New World Order, One World Gov't, Globalist, not so pro American politician...

Glenn seems to have an unusual level of respect for our Founding Fathers and has tended to lean towards pro American politicians, i.e., Bachman...And now he supports the most concervative sounding, pro American sounding politician, Santorum...

Like Beck and millions of Americans, I see the U.S. as being on the wrong track...And it didn't start with Obama...

Giving this thing to Newt or Romney will guarantee that we follow the same path that we've been on for some time...

I expect one of these guys to pick a Democrat for a running mate...

crack me up the part about beck supporting Romney. beck is not supporting Romney. People here at FR say that because of Mormon connection. beck is nothing like Romney as far as Ideology goes. Beck is a t war with the republican party. What is equally funny is that others at moderate sites for Romney claim he is for Ron Paul which is also untrue. Glenn was supporting Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain but now is for Santorum.

Gingrich became Catholic 4 years ago. He takes the Catholic Church’s position of being against abortion of any type, and that includes rape, incest and life of the mother.

Gingrich is depised by Beltway republicans because he actually worked with Bill Clinton to get two budgets pasts and other legislation in the middle 90s. They figured it would help Clinton get reelected. To hell with the good of the country.

Newt Gingrich is the only man running that has actually did any thing for the good of the country. He practically ran the country when he was Speaker of the House. He has
more sense in his big toe that Romney has in his entire
dyed head.

Beck has the nerve to rant and rave and tell someone how
“liberal” they are. Anyone remember his show about the
Founding Fathers? He said the little black man squatting behind George Washington had more to do with winning the war than anyone else. He goes on to say that blacks in American history have contributed more than anyone else and have been ignored in American history. He treated everyone in the audience like they were idiots and that he was the only one that had ever heard of George Washington Carver, Marcus Garvey, Harriet Tuchman and others. He sounded EXACTLY like the biggest liberal that ever lived. Glenn Sharpton in all his glory.

Beck is also a closet Harry Reid fan since dingy Harry is a Mormon. LOL!!!

I am Mormon and I will not vote for Romney even if it comes down to Obama vs Romney. I would reluctantly vote for him if it was Huntsman vs Obama. In fact, I would vote for anybody besides Obama or Romney.

And I listen to Beck everyday, and I do not see him promoting Romney anywhere close to others on the radio like Medved and Hannity. In fact he just finished a great commentary on Santorum. Why would a Romney supporter do that?

- - - - -
Ever hear of “Lying for the Lord”? It is a ruse to make it look like he isn’t for Romney. In the end he will sigh (and maybe fake cry) and say Romney is the only one who can get elected.
