AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

But did not Jim Robinson, the owner of FR beat back the Paulbots last week with a warning to them not to make trouble here?

A non-recess appointment is more important than we understand...

In response to this, the Republicans will do absolutely nothing except gnash their teeth and scream, claiming it to be a worthy substitute for action.

The truth is, that now that the Socialists have done it, the Progressive Republicans will be able to do it, too. They will not want to fight it.

The people’s rights as established by the Constitution, which was approved by a vote of the States, are disregarded. The sacred pact we all made with each other, is being torn asunder by the gimme classes.

The legal and social contract that is the US Constitution, is treated as void and of no further effect. Our Constitution, you know the one, that living, breathing document, the one that is outdated according to the Socialists’ president, no longer exists in anything other than a vague and general concept, unless it fits the Socialist Agenda.

Like the Pirate Code, it is now really more a set of guidelines meant to be broken, as long as it interferes with the political agenda of those in power. With the court ruling often that a citizen has no standing to sue for violations of the Constitution, the court has denied any method of redress except through the ballot.

And the elections are held according to rules set by, guess who, the ruling elite. Therefore, you need picture ID for everything except voting, so that the only power to affect change is diluted to the extent that it is no longer effective against anyone other than an established candidate, a la Romney.

The parties control the voting and the early primary/caucuses to eliminate the non-establishment candidate before nearly all of the country has a chance to vote.

It is all about control by the few, to set rules for the many, at the cost of our freedom.

I wait for someone to prove me wrong, but there are no great leaders on the horizon in this nation. There is nothing but the hive mentality as established by the Queens in Washington DC.

If Obama is allowed to do yet another tyrannical and despotic act without a fight, a pox on all of them. The sun has set on America. Relativism rules. Standards evaporate. There are no moral absolutes, only to get as much as you can, as fast as you can, from as many as you can.

I hope the entire system fails, and the sooner the better, so we can start again with a clean slate.

The reason America has fared so well is that the majority of people respected the Constitution and the law of the land. Now that the leader of the country has trampled the Constitution & he and his minions (like Holder) only enforce the laws they like (signing statement with 17 points, Fast & Furious, Black Panthers .... and on and on), why should anyone else in the country be bound by anything? I think we’re headed for another Revolution and it’s not going to be a peaceful Tea Party march on the Capitol.

We are discovering that many Americans DO have a price for selling their country into Communism.

"Where is the money coming from for this “mortgage re-financing”? I think I’m missing something."

NOT the 44%ers (those who pay no income tax)

I heard that there is a virtually unreported mortgage fee in that spending bill they just passed. I know next to nothing about it and could only find this comment by a freeper:

"...middle class homeowners and people that want to refinance they will have to pay a big $5000 fee on their mortgage to pay fund other peoples social security. This tax is permanant and doesn’t go away. Obama and Dems are attacking the fragile housing market with more government."

Also:

Fed says expand Fannie, Freddie role to aid housing

Think this is what Rush just read from:

January Surprise: Is Obama preparing a trillion-dollar, mass refinancing of mortgages?

LOL. I’m not that good yet! I’ve also been thinking, if colleges want to offer hip courses that’ll attract students, instead of offering some BS like OWS 101, higher ed oughta try something like The Physics of Angry Birds 101. I’d pay to take that :-)

So since I won your straw poll a few weeks ago by picking Santorum whom shall be his VP?

I so want Liz Cheney but realistically I’m going with Ryan/Rubio.

Mark Levin also said that the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (Cordray) will be under the oversight of the FEDERAL RESERVE!

That was a shock to me, as I had not seen that reported anywhere.

Barry Obama, the undisputed champion of single syllable sloganeering, is seen here fixing the economy with another injection of borrowed money. To finance himself and his cronies in the name of phony justice, he wants a debt ceiling rise of 1.2 Trillion...MORE. It's going to take a four syllable word to remedy this problem...IN-TER-VEN-TION. http://daletoons.blogspot.com/

New mortgage fees:

The $33 billion cost of the two-month extension would be covered by increasing fees government-controlled Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac charge lenders to guarantee mortgages. A full-year extension would have cost about $200 billion.

The fees on new mortgage customers would be permanently increased by 10 basis points under the legislation.

http://news.yahoo.com/lawmakers-agree-2-month-payroll-tax-cut-extension-003819166.html
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The bad news extends further to new or refinancing homeowners as they will foot the bill for the tax cut. New fees attached to mortgages backed by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Housing Administration will cover the cost.
Fox News reported ” the mortgage fee provision would have widespread long-term impact, considering nine out of 10 mortgages go through one of the three government-sponsored finance organizations affected. The new fee increase would amount to about $15 a month more for a $200,000 mortgage, according to a senior Democratic official. That’s $180 a year, or $360 a year for a $400,000 mortgage.
Homeowners would have the fee hike built into their loan — the mortgage provider would then send that extra revenue to the Treasury.
