WRONG. Remember the 2010 midterm elections, and get a clue. A plurality of Americans are conservative, and WANT the country to swing hard right, after the disastrous left-wing destruction of the last two decades - and especially the last three years.

Don't get fooled by those ideology poll numbers. I was polled by Gallup with that question. I answered conservative, but many Freepers disagree with that self identification. A New Yorker or Bostonian may answer conservative and mean something very different than someone from Lincoln, Spokane, or Cape Giradeau. Liberal is an homogenized monicker. Conservative has a multiplicity of meanings.
