Hi, Ma and company!

Ahhhhhhhhh... Davis Montham. ‘The Boneyard’. Home of countless
obsolete airframes. Visited the base many, many times in the late 80s and throughout the 1990s. To procure (beg, borrow, steal) several C-141 cargo floors worth of conveyor roller panels, wenches and lots of loose Aero-Medical equipment.

The arrangement of Maintenance Stands in this photo reminds me of many an afternoon spent with my arms being soaked with JP-4 Jet Fuel while removing and replacing the engine’s Fuel Control. Lots of gas in that plumbing. Even with the Circuit Breakers pulled.

It’s nice to see that things never really change.

Jack.

Jack...good evening/morning...((HUGS))

Sounds like you have had quite the time there. Was your mission just to go to Davis-Monthan and see what you could find? Do you go anywhere you want?

Hope you and your furbabies had a good holiday season. Still hunting?
