As Iran ratcheted up its rhetoric Thursday about closing the Strait of Hormuz, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul revisited his earlier criticisms of Western policy towards Tehran, adding that Iran would be justified in cutting off the strategic waterway in response to sanctions. ... At a campaign event in Iowa Thursday, Paul called Western sanctions imposed against Iran over its nuclear activities “horrendous” and “acts of war,” while repeating earlier assertions that Iran would understandably want to develop a nuclear weapons capability, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Not a Ron Supporter but this article reeks media bias. Paul did not use the word "Justified" as used in the title. Its not a act of war against US, no more than Obama closing down drilling activities in the Gulf Of Mexico.

Ron Paul is finally going beyond the pale. When the cuckoo bird shows up more than he does its time to say goodbye. Paul is not a Republican by any stretch of the imagination and he needs to leave the party and run as a Libertarian which is what he is. Or at least part Libertarian and part cuckoo bird. Its just as well he is devolving now in a real public way so we can get on with nominating a sane and sober candidate to take out Obama.
