A drastic departure from his usual image as a stoic, policy-drive candidate, Gingrich cried more than once in recalling how even today he still cries when he sings Christmas carols. GOP pollster Frank Luntz asked the tear-evoking question.
"I get teary-eyed everytime we sing Christmas carols," he said, starting to choke up. "My mother sang in the choir and loved singing in the choir. And I don't know if I should admit this, but when I was very young she made me sing in the choir and we had pictures of me at a very young age singing in the choir."

It might eventually occur to you that it is Newt’s spirit which is ultimately the source ofr the emotional reaction to the Christmas songs. I’m 66. I still get teary eyed when I pray in earnest. Yes, it is ‘in my closet’, so to speak, but the tears are real and the broken and contrite heart are also real. A man who would not have a broken and contrite heart before The Grace of God in Christ would be more to suspect of deceit, like Milt Rominy (rhymes with hominy, the huskless corn product)..
There’s no crying on the campaign trail. :-)
Actually, it didn't. If it had, she'd be squatting in the Oval Orifice instead of the pestilence that's in there now.
She was most likely crying because she'd been given the word that she was NOT going to be the nominee.

Mormons are like that. That spike they have out in front of their indoctrination centers is not a “cross” it is a Lightening Rod to dispell direct hits from the man upstairs.
For that reason alone, I am dumping my cable next Dec., still have to finish the contract.
I have not watched FOX in over 2 weeks now, I don't give a damn what they have to say anymore. Expecially since they have brought back the INSANE Alan Colmes, and listening to "suspenders" Bob Beckel rant is beyond my patience limit.
I understand that FOX in german is FUCH, and so now we know.
But this time, the Union Leader has endorsed the guy with the tears...

I cry too whenever I see pictures of me from the 1970's........(now if I could figure out a way to get those damn pictures from my sister).
