I know these are "adults" and not "likely voters"...but this is NOT good news.

Let's keep focused on defeating HUSSEIN no matter what happens in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida....

Bad news for thinking Americans.

Unfortunately, "thinking Americans" have less and less influence on elections. Non-taxpayers who believe the government/MSM fake unemployment numbers and fake in inflation numbers will be thankful the "savior" has saved us and will reelect him.

I believe that equal to Obama in responsibility for the destruction of Our Country is the Democrat plant, Crybaby Boehner. The Democrats and Obama could not have done it without him.

Republicans that allow this get what they deserve.

A poll of "adults" is a poll of non-citizens.

This is a 5 percent improvement since the Dec. 16-18 Gallup survey and marks the first time the president's numbers have been in positive territory since July.

Bad news for Obama is that he has to come back from vacation someday.

Think it’s bad now? Just wait and see if the elite get their way and nominate Romney.

EVERYONE! GET A GRIP.
Gallup and his wascally friends take a three day rolling average...
I want to see the numbers three days from now.
The flaky poll : 12/21-12/23 O 47 not O 45
Previous poll : 12/20-12/22 O 44 not O 48
Poll with separate data : 12/18-12/20 O 43 not-O 49

The data for the last one picked up the 1500 voters that Gallup and his gang called on 12/23, and dropped the folks from 12/20. Look at the numbers! Now using a little bit of Algebra, one can conclude that the people Gallup called on 12/23 Split 59-33 pro Obama with 8 undecided. Where the previous days sample was 44-48 against Obama. A one day 30 point swing? That is Hugo Chavez numbers. LOL. Though I wouldn't put it past HolyMan to have Gallup in his hi pocket, trying to use 80 years of status in polling to dispirit those like us on the other side. EL RUSHBO hit the nail on the head when he said this was fishy.

Is it broken down into topics such as foreign policy, economy, crime, etc.? If not, it’s meaningless.

You know, does not surprise me, my husband and I have already given up on the election. We project OB will win again, especially with the opposite side as it is and it is not going to change.
Even here on Free Republic, there is this anyone but Romney, or Gingrich, or whomever.
The Republicans, Conservatives and even independents, if it is not their guy then they will stay home, or not vote or whatever.
We will loose and we will regret out stupidity but too late.
Come hell or high water, I will vote and and I will vote for anyone over OB. I do not care who it is.
I will be voting Republican, voting a 3rd party is suicide.

If the American People are stupid enough to vote for their own demise than let them have it. I am really about done fighting against idiots that think it is good when government intercedes in the free market and takes money from the economy to foolishly spend on one “victimized group or another”.... If the American people have been so hypotonotized by the left that they can’t see the danger of what the Democrats are doing to the country than screw them all. They get the government they vote for. No one is talking about the crushing debt and the absolute insane trajectory of the debt. Obama has added over 5 trillion in defict spending in his first term and all he does is say, Bush and the Republicans made me do it and the idiots in America buy into that crap and blame Republicans, for their part Republicans are too lazy or too stupid to stand up for themselves and they allow these lies to fester and hurt them politically. Let them have it and let them take the full accounting and blame as the debt crisis worsens, as the “RICH” revolt and as austerity is forced on the people all at the hands of their beloved Communist politicians that have overpromised and overspent this country into oblivion. Good Luck.

Why don’t the Republicans point out to all the people on Social Security that O’Bummer is stealing their retirement money with this payroll tax cut. It’s 100% from the SS Fund. That alone should knock him back down 10 points!

Probably because of the recent drop in the unemployment rate (due in part to seasonal employment), coupled with bringing the troops home from Iraq. People will sour on the latter, however, as things fall apart because Obama made a purely political decision to pander to his base, rather than listening to his generals on the ground. He’ll try to cover by blaming Bush once again, arguing that we shouldn’t have been there in the first place, and that Bush’s experiment with democracy in the Middle East has “failed”.

His approval numbers have to be viewed in the context of the sheer numbers of people on the govt dole. All of them; whether they are public employees or entitlement dependents or even contract workers. Not to mention politically connected people in finance...the list goes on. They think Obama’s fortunes and theirs are One. When you understand this you realize how he can be reelected despite his performance during his first, and hopefully, last term. Absent this understanding, sending him back for four more years would be imponderable. No matter that on our current track we all go down, and no amount of fiat currency will buy his fellow travelers any security during a national economic implosion.
