KANEOHE BAY, Hawaii -- The first family made its way to the chapel on the Marine Corps base here for a Christmas morning church service.
President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha made their way into the chapel shortly after 11 a.m. local time following a brief drive from the vacation home they're renting in nearby Kailua.
The president was wearing a navy blue polo shirt and khakis, while the three Obama women wore sleeveless dresses. T

The White House didn’t offer other details on the service or the president’s plans for the rest of the day.
That’s all there is. No info on the sermon, the occasion (Christmas), or anything else. They could have been going to breakfast at a hotel, for all we know. I’l forgive them the sleeveless dresses because it is Hawaii, but he should have been in a Hawaiian print shirt if locale was the reason for the casual dress.
I thought they called the places he frequents mosques.

I think the first family looks pretty normal and nice, for a Sunday in Hawaii.
Fibber and wookie may be accruing photo ops by attending church on rare occasions, but maybe the kids get something out of attending a regular church with regular sermons by regular ministers who preach love (unlike Jeremiah Wright)
I was going to say the internal polling for his reelection must be pretty bad for them to go all-out with all of these photo-ops and such. They've done more this past month than they've done the whole three years in office.
I got in trouble last night. Mrs. blueunicorn6 was mad at me because I had 9 or 10 hot buttered rums. “That’s not healthy,” she said. So I quit using butter. I’ve heard that butter can raise your cholesterol. So, I started using a touch of oleomargarine. Well, I had to double up on the rum to keep all that oleomargarine from overwhelming the taste of the rum. So I come downstairs this morning, and there she is waving the empty rum bottle at me.
“How am I supposed to make even one rum ball now?” she asks.
“I don’t know,” I says. “Sing DANNY BOY, that always makes my Mom bawl.”
I snuck back into the house when she let the dogs out.
....did they have “Onward Christian Soldiers” in the hymnal...?
I hope no one sprinkled any Holy Water on owebama as that could have started a fire...
