Merry Christmas! Our savior is born!
No more politics till Monday for me.
Newt and Rick just need to take it to a “bought” court, like Rahm did in Chicago.
It does stink, but Newt and Perry’s campaigns bear some of the blame for not building up a sufficient margin of safety. When it’s something this important, you really should plan on at least a third of your signatures getting tossed.
And how about the errors involved in transferring the name and address from the handwritten petition form to the computer database entry - done by OCR, people, how?
seems to me that the gingrich machine would have put in some overkill....but that’s just me.
The Establishment is trying to pick the nominee, regardless of what voters want.
I saw John Fund on Fox & Friends this morning talking about this situation. He said this is going to go to court and the court will come down on the side of “the voters” (as it always has) therefore, Perry and Newt will wind up on the ballot.
come on, Jim, first Missouri, now Virginia — we are to trust Gingrich’s ability to competently organize?
He’s history. Smartest guy on either side, but cannot draw Independents — and that is the group needed in order to win.
Merry Christmas to you, as well. Pray that your day was as joyous as mine— as we celebrated 2 new arrivals (my niece’s twins!). -:)
I don’t care that Romney is wealthy. I admire that.
I DO bloody mind that a Romney robot has apparently changed the prior (2008 and before) means of signature-checking, without notice to OTHER candidates, at the last minute!!!
“as we celebrated 2 new arrivals (my nieces twins!). -:)
Congrats to all! God has blessed all of you!
I honestly don't know how Gingrich can beat Obama, but will support Gingrich if he is the nominee.
The critical thing to remember is WHO will women support. If they are alienated by Gingrich's past, then they won't vote for him. White males are a lock for either Gingrich or Romney, but women will most likely support Romney over Gingrich because of his role as a husband and father.
That's all I am saying.
Ignorant? Or tame?
Him and Medved, both. They both like to interview Willard and suck up to Rove. Medved defends Rove's savaging of O'Donnell in Delaware, which was absolutely indefensible even if Rove thought she was a weak candidate.
And I don't know what's the matter with Laura Ingraham, she sings from the Willard songbook and savages the conservative candidates every chance she gets. You'd think she was eye-deep in debt and someone at Chase Bank had her on a leash.
.... and vote for Willard. Yeah, I know. Sure.
Save it for someone likely to be impressed. This has blatant political fingerprints all over it, and you're not blowing away anybody here with your virtuoso display of processualism in the face of an obvious -- blatant! -- Rahmboid power play by political insiders.
All you're telling us is that, at the end of the day, you're pumping up Willard's cause notorious on a website openly hostile to his hokum and the people behind him. Which starts to look like that should include you.
I sure hope so. If you are the RNC or a Republican generally, do you want to defend Mitt Romney later on, against LieStreamMedia charges that Willard did in Massachusetts the exact same things Bozo did in DC w/r/t sovietized health care, and in Virginia the same things Bozo did in Chicago, getting better people kicked off the ballot and robbing voters of any real choice?
First, Soviet health care, and now Soviet elections. You go, Willard.
Well then it is time for all candidates and We the people to demand they stick to the rules for all parites, including soetoro/soebarkah/bounel/shabbaz/obama’s party.
Supposedly VA was sued by an I candidate to apply ‘equal treatment’ to all parties.
Article 2 natural born citizen presidential requirement is the supreme rule of the land. This and the state’s own constitutional requirement for the presidency must be observed! Gingrich and Perry must demand equal treatment!
They ‘disqualify’ candidates from ballot access on technicality but when it comes to soetoro/soebarkah/obama’s constitutional eligibility requirement they close their eyes. How convenient!
Especially since his "political experience" is allegedly a selling point.
