Kathy Griffin’s comedic range is......well....limited.

Kathy: “Knock, knock.”
Audience: “Who’s there?”
Kathy: F*&% you!”

Kathy: Knock, knock.”
Audience: “Who’s there?”
Kathy: F*&% you, again!”

Back in the 90s she got a chance at fame by being written into a series of Seinfeld scripts. She played Herself, an obnoxious over bearing loudmouth comedian. She played a sort of recurring part that tried to grow a story line of it's own. But, after the second one the ratings dropped dramatically form episodes that included her.

Even now with the syndicated shows, the viewers tend to turn off the episodes where she turns up. She makes most of her living in Europe where she makes fun of America.
