Palin says not too late to consider presidential run

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Tea Party champion Sarah Palin, who has already ruled out a 2012 presidential run, on Monday attempted to dangle her name anew as a possible Republican candidate, although it's probably too late.
In an interview to air on Fox Business Network's "Follow the Money" program, the 2008 Republican nominee for vice president was asked whether she would still consider a run for the White House.
"It's not too late for folks to jump in," Palin said. "Who knows what will happen in the future."

I was a firm Sarah supporter and I would have loved to vote for her, but the teasing and the games turned me off. I really think she does this to stay in the spotlight. The reality show she was shopping had no takers, so here we go again.

A man that can part the waters, heal the earth, and so-on, certainly would find it quite easy to extend the hours of a day such that the new day length would be sufficient to install him permanently in office, as he would never effectively reach 4 total years for a LONG time.
You really didn’t know Sarah if you call it teasing. My support for her never wavered. There are many flip flop voters/fair weather supporters - that would turn on a dime and they have by calling her names and judging her actions.
When she announced she wasn’t running - my response was she knows best what her decision should be. She has helped our country big time these past 3 years and I’ll always be appreciative of Sarah and Todd’s efforts and what they went through for our country at the hands of liberals and rinos. It was unprecedented. Even now - every action, every word is scrutinized.

The months of July and August and September she dithered and teased by trying to be coy. Either way, she blew any chance she had by not having the strength to either admit she would not run or by joining the fray.
To America, her inability to decide is more than enough reason to write her off. The fact she can make pronouncements and speak favorably about those things conservatives hold dear is irrelevant. America rejected her in September
Your right, she had her chance and blew it...now she is not needed. Maybe next election when she learns to be consistant...maybe I’m in, maybe I’ll run and then nope will not run, maybe I’m in makes her seem flaky
I’ve never really claimed to “know” Sarah-—I simply supported her politically, and I still think she is a good woman and that her opinions are right on target. I didn’t melt down or get hysterical when she declined to run; I had hoped she would, but at that point I didn’t think it would happen. So I moved on to another candidate. Doing so does not in any way negate her contributions. IMO, a lot of the support for Sarah has become far too emotional in nature. I like her, but I don’t owe her undying loyalty, and it isn’t a character flaw not to give it to her.

That’s the way you see it, not me. I’m not a flip flop or fair weather supporter. She has done nothing wrong - she made a decision for the best interest for her and her family. Her support and patriotism for our country can never be denied - she was ‘doing’ before you even heard of her. Save your wrath for mitt and barry - it’s repulsive throwing mud at a proven fighter and conservative. What kind of mindset would do that - it’s not rocket science to figure that out - I’ve watched it for three years.
Too bad Cain didn’t take time to make his decision more wisely. Did you start throwing mud at him, yet? After all, you claim you supported him. Perhaps you like that he didn’t ‘dither’ and just jumped in. Did he tease you?

I think that most are aware that we currently are ruled by man, not by law. Among those running for president I do not see any of them even thinking about correcting this let alone taking action to restore the rule by law. I believe that Governor Palin would take action to restore this nation and believing so would welcome her back in the fray.
I half expect to see an “It’s not too late to get in” article around Labor Day 2012, when some folks will pop up to tell us that this is part of a brilliantly unconventional campaign strategy.
I tend to agree with you. Unbeknownst to the general public and quite frankly, most FReepers is that there is a fairly large groundswell of Palin supporters urging her to reconsider and take the plunge. If the now running candidates fail to catch fire soon, she may feel compelled to jump in the race.
The success of the tea party electing candidates in other races is going to suffer if the top of the GOP ticket is incapable of exciting the electorate. As things stand now, it doesn't look good.
It seems that many people here don’t love Sarah Palin for who she is (a fellow sister in Christ created in the image of God who loves her God, her family, and her country), but they loved what she could have given them (relief from the Obamatopia had she won in 2012). So when she decided not to run, it’s not surprising that many would turn against her.

Looks like Saint Sarah is out of money and attention again. Time to kick statt another scam, but this time, she has jumped the shark.
Ya know, I’ve been going that way myself. Moving Santorum and Bachman to the side, of the other four candidates I think Paul would do the least damage to the country. The RINO candidates—Gingrich, Romney and Perry—are beholden to the demrat party one way or another.
I think a significant number of nonMarxist dems will find any one of them fairly easy to vote for—and they will. Onada will hold the white Marxist (including union voters) and black vote. That’ll get him to around 30%. He can’t win with that. IMHO it’s conceivable Paul could win with someting like 45-50% of the Pubbie/conservative vote.
Personally, I think we will have a brokered Pubbie/conservative convention. Also, I believe Palin remains a wild card. She has a natural ability to generate excitement and communicate.
In the absense of any other info I think the remaining prmary months will be largely meaningless as far as determining who the GOP candidate will be. It must obvious even to the three RINO amigos there is no ground swell of support for any of them. This will not change for genuine Tea Party conservative voters.
If we can’t get a conservative on the GOP ticket we may have to go with Paul—in lieu of a write in campaign for Bachman, Santorun or Palin. This will be very viable as long as we hold the House and gain the Senate with a predominance of Tea Party conservatives.
Despite saying the goofiest things and being a libertarian, I believe Paul is an American first. He will focus on securing the country by fixing the economy and making the US the overwhelmingly strongest militry power on earth.
Rhe House and Senate can then focus on undoing the Marxist disaster and returning the country to Capitalism—the most successful ecomomic model the world has ever seen.
