They have legal papers to serve on me and it is against my name and ss#.

I’ve never heard of getting a “heads up” call about being named n a lawsuit. Something stinks here.
Did they actually say your name and your SS number over the phone ?
What they do is when you call back, they ask for you to verify you name and SSN. Then they attempt to implement whatever scam they have devised, to get your money and ruin your whole economic life...people fall for it every day.
My brother recently got a call from supposedly his bank, telling him he was in foreclosure, he said he was not, then they asked, can you please verify your name and address, he hung up, but some will comply, then they ask for all kinds of personal and financial info...it works for them often enough to take the risk.
