CURL: One president, please, with a side of Rice
Washington Times ^ | December 18, 2011 | Joseph Curl

Republican diners haven’t yet picked their entree, but they’ve narrowed it down to the steak or the fish. Still, just as interesting as their main course will be their side selection: Will they go for a drab salad, or something more exciting? Maybe a spicy Rice dish?

Yes, that Rice: Condi. She’s rested and ready - and buff.

Seems to me that she could bring in a lot of voters.

I’d love it if Condi joined in. Exactly what we need to take down the loser!

No. Never. She is staunchly pro-abort, and remained so under Bush, who was genuinely pro-life.

Give it a rest. No Bushies. No Rinos.

Marco Rubio. Conservative credibility and Florida’s electoral votes to boot.

We will not tolerate this “one world” amorphous blob rino any where near VP. Millions of us will opt out and to hell with it. If you have the chance to vote for a real Democrat versus a fake demodrat— just go real thing. Condi Rice is horrible. No way Jose. Absolutely not!!!

"Marco Rubio. Conservative credibility and Florida’s electoral votes to boot."

Senator Marco Rubio is not a natural born Citizen of the United States to constitutional standards. He was born a dual citizen of both Cuba and the USA. He is thus not eligible to serve as the President or Vice President of the United States per Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution.

She’s smart and has tons of experience. No need to skewer her so darn fast.

I liked Sarah (spirit), then Cain (non-pol), now settling on Newt (not afraid to do battle).

I’d vote for my toaster if it ran against Obama.

By my reckoning we need Obama out even if we don’t find our ideal conservative candidate.

Does she discuss all of her boyfriends in her profile?

I guess you and me don't stand a chance.

I'll settle for VP though.

I think the abortion issue should be off the table for this election. For one, the laws will not change no matter who is in charge on the Republican side.

And secondly, there are much more important things to consider.

We need a steady experienced hand at the foreign policy front and Condi’s got it.
