Hankyung (business newspaper) ^ | 12/14/11

This particular date has not had any significance before, let alone being a holiday. No explanation is provided on the calendar or anywhere else. Is this the day N.Korean regime will end the world? LOL.

April 15 (1912) was the birthday for Kim Il Sung, but that is a Sunday, so they will give the people an extra day on an ordinary working day. or:

On April 5, 2009 a Unha-2 carrier rocket was launched at around 02:30 hours UTC.

i.e. no idea.

PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — North Korea hailed Kim Jong Il’s son as “supreme leader” of the 1.2-million strong military, ramping up its campaign to install the young man as the nation’s next leader even as millions continue mourning the father a week after his death.

Now we have one Supreme leader in NK and one in Iran, both will be gone soon.

This is a benchmark test. The Google search for news about 김정일 (Kim Jong-il) in Korean produced about 19,400 results 김정은 (Kim Jong-un) in Korean produced about 5,280 results i.e a ratio of 3.7:1 what will it be in a week?

And now the DPRK Norkie regime is STRICTLY PROHIBITING ANY MENTION that Kim Jong Un's mother Ko Young Hee (the actress) as actually a resident of Japan of Korean heritage, that came over and married Kim Jong il, and popped out a son, the Boy King.

The Korean Workers Party wants absolutely no discussion within KWP Party circles, or in official biographies of the Boy or in group study sessions, that Mom actually heralded from most-hated JAPAN. They are afraid this will somehow "cheapen" his birth and his status of rule. I guess more myths are on the way to being created.

All the more reason for the propaganda balloon campaign just south of the DMZ sending flyer into the North highglight not only Fat Boy's oppoulence and weight against the backdrop of starvation, but that they also hype aggressively this angle that his mother came from Japan originally. Can have some real fun with these angles.

Yes, this will be an Achilles heel for Kim Jong-un. However, it would be impossible to keep it under wraps. The hallowed Baekdu-san Revolutionary Line has been contaminated with a 'low-life' ethnic Korean heritage from Japan. A woman dancing for entertainment.

Since N. Korean regimes has personality cult as it main pillar, this won't go down well.

Look what we got here. Jang Sung-taek made a full general. He is wearing general's uniform with four stars on the shoulder. He has been an powerful party official for many years but not a military officer. Now it changes.

UN tribute to Kim leads to walkout of diplomats

Dec 24,2011

The UN General Assembly yesterday paid a silent tribute to the late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, sparking a walkout of ambassadors of Korea and other countries.

At the start of the assembly Thursday, its president, Qatar’s Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, told the diplomats, “It is my sad duty to pay tribute to the memory of the late Kim Jong-il.”

The president asked North Korean Ambassador Sin Son-ho to “convey condolences” and called on all envoys “to stand and observe a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the late leader.”

A walkout ensued by ambassadors from South Korea, the United States, Japan, Britain, France, Germany and other countries. After the walkout, only a third of the seats were still occupied.

Al-Nasser read out all the official posts held by the North Korean leader and the remaining diplomats stood and bowed their heads for a minute.

NK military changes communication system to avoid wiretaps

DECEMBER 24, 2011 20:34

The South Korean military has obtained intelligence that top brass in North Korea are changing communication frequencies and encrypting system to avoid wiretapping.

The move comes after South Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un, the successor to the late leader Kim Jong Il, gave his first order to his military just before the Dec. 19 announcement of his father`s death.

A military source said Friday that the South Korean military has had trouble collecting special intelligence obtained by wiretapping North Korean telecommunications since South Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un ordered North Korean troops to stop military exercises and immediately return to base.

“No additional special intelligence has been secured from the telecommunication system used to deliver Kim Jong Un`s first order to his entire military,” the source added. “It appears that the North Korean military is changing the frequency bandwidth or encryption system out of fear that the South Korean military is wiretapping.”

The North issues all instructions, including orders from the leadership, to its units through encrypted or coded words to maintain communication security. Reportedly, Kim Jong Un`s first order was quickly delivered to all military units in encrypted form Monday morning just before state-run media announced Kim Jong Il`s death.

After South Korean media reports said Seoul decrypted the detailed contents of the communication, Pyongyang`s military has begun to act to prevent the South from collecting further intelligence, military intelligence in Seoul said.

Another source said, “There`s the possibility that the North is delivering follow-up instructions only through its optical cable networks, which cannot be wiretapped by the South Korean military, after changing its communication frequencies or encryption system.”

Rep. Kim Se-yeon, a member of the South Korean ruling Grand National Party, claimed at a parliamentary session Friday that optical fiber cables provided by the South were buried under ground, blocking wiretapping efforts.

Since the Kim Dae-jung administration, Seoul has been providing the North with telecommunication equipment including optical cables to help the impoverished communist country improve its communication networks. The South Korean military said communication using optical cables is harder to detect than those using wireless networks.

Yep. "General Fishlips" it seems.

What happened. Didn't his bitch, "Comrade Blackeyes", get a spanking new uniform with full fruit salad, too??!!

Really, this whole line of somber looking DPRK regime men has absolutely NO LEGITIMACY UNDER HEAVEN and they are already responsible for crimes against humanity, including the Boy who was in on the shelling of Yongpyeongdo Island. They should all be strung up by 250 ton lift cranes. If the poor, oppressed, starving people have a chance, they will do just that to these Gangsters inventing titles and uniforms and myths about themselves. These men may well have poisoned Kim Jong il (not that he would not have deserved it), such is the level of their humanity and honor, even among blood relatives.

Oh, forgot. Jimmy Carter wired them ASAP to wish them every "success" in the new regime.

Bahrain should have walked out. They were afterall where the DPRK spy team, male and female, were caught in the aftermath of bombing the KAL flight over Anadman sea ON KIM JONG IL'S ORDERS.

One of them committing suicide by biting into a cyanide laced filter in his cigarettes.

A MOMENT OF SILENCE MY ASS. HOW ABOUT A MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR THE VICTIMS OF KIM JONG IL.

Is this the remnants of the Japanese Red Army?:

Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Fighters Mourn Demise of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) — Anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace where the bier of leader Kim Jong Il is placed and expressed condolences in the bitterest grief.

They entered the mourning hall in heartrending sorrow at the loss of the peerless patriot and the father of the nation.

The veteran revolutionary fighters have glorified their life on the road for the party, leader, country and the people enjoying longevity under the care of Kim Jong Il.

They observed a moment's silence in memory of Kim Jong Il, great and kind-hearted man who lies in state.

They broke into tears, thinking he might just get up, greet them with a broad smile on his face and ask about their health in a resounding voice as he used to.
