The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.
We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.
Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.

The question isn’t whether Newt did anything wrong by taking money from Freddie Mac to develop a rational to sell the idea of the GSEs to the voters and to “build bridges to Republicans on Capitol Hill” at just the moment conservatives were trying to dismantle these fiscal sinkholes.
The question is whether Newt did anything extremely stupid here.
And the answer is yes.

I have some doubts about it. In Columbus, Georgia we had one Habitat home that got publicity upon completion and then publicity again because there was a $45,000 car parked outside of it all the time. The homeowner said “Oh that is not mine...it is my boyfriend’s car...” Well maybe if people still married and worked hard together they would not need a HHH.
One local U. Methodist Church kept going to Nicargua to build Habitat homes which struck me as odd because there is a labor surplus there. And they always picked the most Lefty Sandinista areas.
Santorum’s response on Iran was superb. Reasoned, cogent, and sincere..I’m liking him more and more..
