The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.
We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.
Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.
Newt is GREAT! He knows his stuff! Bravo Mr President Newt
Go Newt - on the judges!
Newt slapped M kelley down
Gingrich is GREAT on the courts !
Its truly sad to see how so many on both sides of the aisle are doing their best to try and unseat Newt.I understand he rubs a lot of people wrong but he does have the potential to do a lot of things right for the country it will be up to us to keep him on the straight and narrow.
Newt just bitch-slapped kelly
It doesn’t matter. It resonates with what the people want.
Newt's not my pick, but I've got to hand it to him, avoiding all those "gotcha" traps these "moderators" keep trying to set.
Fox is so blatantly pro-Romney.
NEWT ROCKS!
HE’S DEAD BANG RIGHT ABOUT THIS!
That “Historian Bitch Slap” was a work of art...
Megyn you just got the crap slapped out of your idiotic gotcha question
Rick Perry sure agreed with her in a big way. Get the influence peddling out of DC.
Michele Bachmann knows the Constitution. Another great answer by Michele.
One reason Glenn Beck had to go. They made a hard left turn but their ratings are slipping. The entire weekend is practically all tape.
(Question to Romney: What will be the areas of biggest job growth in the next 10 year?)
Romney: “The free market will decide.” (translation: “I don’t know”).
Have to give the devil their due. The earlier CNN debate, with the questions from Heritage and AEI..is the model they should all follow in the future...I’d ahve given it a perfect score, wexcept for the fact that Wolf Blitzer was the moderator..
Not gonna matter, cindy.
Nobody ever attacks Mitt; everyone attacks the Non-Mitt co-frontrunner. Nobody will drop out, even if they’re broke and/or can’t possibly win.
Every voter at FR seems hardened toward a candidate, and is willing to go down with their ship.
Mitt Romney is the front-runner, and he is the front-runner by far. It’s Conservatives own fault, too. Everyone wants their particular Conservative, and nobody leaves any consideration for finding a compromise Conservative who can defeat Romney. Nobody is budging...... except that the Establishment advertising and GOP media takes turns taking-out anyone able to challenge Mitt, thus moving people away from whoever the Non-Mitt front-runner is.
We are very late in the game now, and everyone is still stubbornly betting their house, car, and life savings on a miraculous, last-second come-from-behind for their candidate. There was plenty of time to make a candidate’s case. Now is the time to stop Romney.
Romney is a political featherweight. He doesn’t have the strength to push anyone around and liberals can blow him around like a tumbleweed.
Haha! Double Stomp. I think Megyn was gonna cry...
