The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.
We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.
Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.
Yep. Flaherty, Finneran, Dimasi.
must have a mouse in his pocket
About half the field needs to go. Santorum heads up that half.
Don’t forget to tweet yes if you like the question and no if you don’t like the way the question was... wait no if you do like the answer and yes if you like the honesty of the candidate.. no that’s yes if you.... OH ferget it!
Who said it in this morn WSJ that these so-called “debates” are in reality mini-press conferences by the candidates?!
I see nothing to debate amongst ourselves, except perhaps the similarities here to the Soviet agitprop.
Newt's right - and it's better than talking about 'leadership'. Everyone's for good leadership so why talk about it? What is one of these guys going to say - that they're against leaders or that they can't lead? Silly stuff.
Come on Fox - don't waste my time.
Wife says Santorum looks just like Woody in Toy Story.
I know it’s mean but we are joking the moderators should just shoo Huntsman from the stage bc no one is taking him seriously.
Sadly I would proably tell Santorum that’s it, as well.
The questions seem to be about the campaign process, not about platforms. I’m an indy. Don’t you pubbies get this wrong in the primary.
So far it is well moderated and seems fair but I am still braced for Wallace to go after Newt.
What is up with the make up on Michelle? Gees.
Good omen..I think this is the FIRST debate thread that FR hasn’t slowed to a crawl..geez..I hope I don’t jinx it..
Sounds good to me.
Romney on leadership. You’ve got to be able to work with the other side. Translation: You’ve got to bend over and grab your ankles to lead.
wish Perry had started out in all the debates like tonight...well, we will see.
waaaaay too many commercials.
The leftwing media gave Clinton all the credit for the balanced budgets, welfare reform and his brilliant triangulation strategy. Gingrich was the right side point of that triangle that brought Billy kicking and screaming to the middle. The way the media has lied about history and never credited Gingrich is criminal. Now we have a lot of republican establishment moderates doing the media’s dirty work for them.
Shes still fetching....i mean shes 2 years older than me and look at me
Hope her hubby sez his prayers...gratitude in the hot wife lottery
And I like her views
But she was always a long shot....unlike Palin she physically diminishes on stage
Its harder for girls to project...a rare and special bird
Sarah...Maggie...Jean
The idiot Fox News pundits are trying to make Obama look more formidable than he really is. These are the same people that fooled enough Republicans into voting for McCain.
I haven’t heard athing Santorum has said.
Huntsman is a big dope.
Perry seems a tad nervous, but I think he is doing fine taking things back to his topics.
