The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.
We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.
Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.

Wife pointed out she was wearing false eyelashes.
I pointed out that Mr Paul’s eyebrows appeared to be the same supposedly fake ones pointed out in previous debates.
OTOH, both eyebrows are so completely different, as to cause one to wonder why they would use them if fake, and totally black in contrast to the grey hair.
Probably not really important issues anyway. Just an observation.
A better question would be to ask you when Michele Bachmann attacked Mitt Romney last night. If it happened, I don’t recall it.
When has Bachmann attacked Romney in ANY of the debates with the vindictiveness she has used against Cain, Perry, Pawlenty, and now Gingrich?
This lady has had an insignificant house seat for 5 years and that qualifies her to be president????
When exactly would Newt Gingrich have been able to eliminate funding for PP? The truth is, TigersEye, Newt NEVER had a republican president and never had a republican Senate, so when exactly was he going to get PP funding eliminated during the era in which the nation was tilted more toward abortion than against it.
Romney is such a BSer. I haven't seen anyone lie with a straight face like this since Bill Clinton!!!!!!!!
I almost threw up literally when he said, "I changed my mind". In regards to abortion. That's not something you just change your mind on Mitt!!!
Until Perry changes his positions concerning Islam and the muslim infilitration into our country I wouldn’t even consider voting for him, he has little understanding of the threat.....but I stand on what I believe, if he really wanted the Presidency he would have taken his “interviews” more seriously and come prepared for them. That’s just how he’s coming across IMO. Unprepared.

We accept Muslims into America that support sharia law. That doesn't mean we support sharia or find it acceptable, only that sometimes you don't exclude people for odious positions they may have. The entire argument is false and dangerously shallow.

She is a demogogue and a twister of facts. She told us the man who brought two parial-birth abortion bans to the House was a supporter of partial birth abortion because he refused to cut off funds to R candidates who weren't against the procedure. She is either a purposeful liar or too shallow to realize her tendency to form opinions based upon loosely associated groups of facts and has no business anywhere near the reins of power.
I’ll say this; we do have a nice looking bunch of candidates- especially after having to look at the jug eared, purple lipped Obama.
No matter how you may feel about their politics, Perry, Romney and Huntsman are strikingly handsome and Michelle Bachman is a beauty.
Even Santorum is fairly attractive, and Paul can be an old cutie coot who is impossible to dislike despite his zany foreign policy views.
I loved it when Newt called Obama an Alinsky radical. Yeah, I think he’ll really take the gloves off and lay into Obama’s socialist/communist background, training, mentors, etc. America will have to choose: Socialism vs American Exceptionalism. It’s your call American voter.

Michele Bachmann is CLEARLY, CLEARLY, the most consistent conservative individual on the stage. It’s disgusting to watch what is happening to this woman. Everything many here have b*tched about happening to Governor Palin, that is, being accused of being stupid, ignorant, crazy, shrill, is being heaped upon Bachmann, by so called “conservatives”.
The left and MSM have taught you people well to eat one of your own. Alfonzo Rachel of PJTV was spot on.
She DESTROYED Ron Paul tonight on Foreign Policy. Not that that is difficult to do, but did so effectively.
In regards to the “attacks” on Gingrich, get over it. Gingrich SAID he supports some type of program garnered towards making housing more affordable. That’s BIG GOVERNMENT. The GSE’s of Fannie/Freddie should be closed and Michele was right for pointing that out. And don’t give me this cr*p about Newt not being a lobbyist. You know d*mn well what he was doing and that contract was written specifically in the way it was to skirt around the lobbying rules. Nobody is kidding anyone here.
SECONDLY, in regards to the defunding of PP and partial-birth abortion issues, it’s no secret Newt is a “BIG TENT REPUBLICAN” (he has even said so). She called him out because he refused to stop supporting candidates that would not oppose these measures. Does Dede Scozzafava from last year ring a bell?
Face it. Some of you here don’t like Bachmann because her name doesn’t happen to be Sarah Palin. Well, I’m sorry. Bachmann decided to run. Palin did not. And right now, she’s fighting against a “good ole boys” club that wants to put her in her place.
The best moment for Bachmann, though, came when she finally stood up for herself and said that she had had enough of this cr*p with “not having her facts straight”. She d*mn well did. Get over it.
I KNOW in a debate against Obama, this woman would rip him a new one. Why? Because I know she is effective at attacking and defending her position. And she doesn’t have to worry about playing two sides of the issue like Newt and Romney try to do, because she is already on the right side.

Keep polishing the turd that is Newt Gingrich if you want to, but as for me, I will continue to adhere to my conservative principles and support the candidate that I not only agree with, but with whom I also can trust. I stand with Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin, who I know are a H*ll of a lot smarter and possess better judgement than most here. I challenge all of you Bachmann haters with your personal attacks on her as being stupid, crazy-eyed, shrill, insane, to call Rush and Mark and voice that on the open airwaves. 18 days to the Iowa Caucuses. I really hope these people get it right and actually let a conservative win.
I'd add Bachmann's insinuation that Perry can be bought for $5k, and the clumps of mud thrown at Newt include "on the take," "influence peddling," "scam" and "infanticide."
Bachmann is a dirty fighter. Looks like more and more people are noticing it with every debate.
If you say it in response to some old dude who has a history of skirtchasing and cheating and is treating you like you should be getting him coffee instead of running for President, maybe it’s understandable.
We’re seeing why Bachman fights lots of things, but wins on nothing.
