We accept Muslims into America that support sharia law. That doesn't mean we support sharia or find it acceptable, only that sometimes you don't exclude people for odious positions they may have. The entire argument is false and dangerously shallow.

Your argument is a straw man. America isn’t the Republican Party and Gingrich did say he would support and campaign for candidates who supported partial birth abortion so your analogy fails on that count too.
