Thank you!
LOLOLOL.
You are one punny lady. Good one!
LOL!
And Newt was correct. He truly did not lobby as Bachmann accused him of. He Consulted. Which is a normal private business enterprise. He was hired to help them improve their business model, of which he did exactly that.
I am a consultant myself and I get paid to perform a service on contract. That does not make me a Lobbyist.
Bachmann is toast after this. She really looked bad, mean and nasty. Her numbers will tank in the coming weeks and she will soon drop out. Guaranteed.
I’m sorry, but the majority of comments in this thread are just pure horsecr*p.
Michele Bachmann is CLEARLY, CLEARLY, the most consistent conservative individual on the stage. It’s disgusting to watch what is happening to this woman. Everything many here have b*tched about happening to Governor Palin, that is, being accused of being stupid, ignorant, crazy, shrill, is being heaped upon Bachmann, by so called “conservatives”.
The left and MSM have taught you people well to eat one of your own. Alfonzo Rachel of PJTV was spot on.
She DESTROYED Ron Paul tonight on Foreign Policy. Not that that is difficult to do, but did so effectively.
In regards to the “attacks” on Gingrich, get over it. Gingrich SAID he supports some type of program garnered towards making housing more affordable. That’s BIG GOVERNMENT. The GSE’s of Fannie/Freddie should be closed and Michele was right for pointing that out. And don’t give me this cr*p about Newt not being a lobbyist. You know d*mn well what he was doing and that contract was written specifically in the way it was to skirt around the lobbying rules. Nobody is kidding anyone here.
SECONDLY, in regards to the defunding of PP and partial-birth abortion issues, it’s no secret Newt is a “BIG TENT REPUBLICAN” (he has even said so). She called him out because he refused to stop supporting candidates that would not oppose these measures. Does Dede Scozzafava from last year ring a bell?
Face it. Some of you here don’t like Bachmann because her name doesn’t happen to be Sarah Palin. Well, I’m sorry. Bachmann decided to run. Palin did not. And right now, she’s fighting against a “good ole boys” club that wants to put her in her place.
The best moment for Bachmann, though, came when she finally stood up for herself and said that she had had enough of this cr*p with “not having her facts straight”. She d*mn well did. Get over it.
I KNOW in a debate against Obama, this woman would rip him a new one. Why? Because I know she is effective at attacking and defending her position. And she doesn’t have to worry about playing two sides of the issue like Newt and Romney try to do, because she is already on the right side.
SHAME ON YOU! Shame on all of you that continue to call this woman shrill, crazy eyes, and stupid. You are no better than the leftist MSM when you do that. It is YOU who are the true hypocrits when it comes to Reagan’s 11th. YOU only acknowledge that rule when it benefits YOU.
Keep polishing the turd that is Newt Gingrich if you want to, but as for me, I will continue to adhere to my conservative principles and support the candidate that I not only agree with, but with whom I also can trust. I stand with Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin, who I know are a H*ll of a lot smarter and possess better judgement than most here. I challenge all of you Bachmann haters with your personal attacks on her as being stupid, crazy-eyed, shrill, insane, to call Rush and Mark and voice that on the open airwaves. Come on, I’m waiting, I’m sure they’d let you to the front of the phone lines. Because I know that if you said that cr*p about Bachmann to them that you spew here, you would be laughed off the air. Go ahead, call them, I dare you.
18 days to the Iowa Caucuses. I really hope these people get it right and actually let a conservative win.
Twas a moment of weakness........
:-)
“But, he is someone that really never has been able to compromise.”
Men of principle don’t compromise their principle. Congress persons honoring their oath, do not compromise their oath.
I think Ron Paul is stubborn that way. He refuses to compromise. Though, he did once. He voted to authorize then President Bush to go get Bin Laden, right after 911. No congressional declaration of war, as required by the Constitution. Something he would normally insist.
Course then, he got screwed. The story goes, when a team had Osama in their sights, in Afghanistan, they were called off. That’s when Paul realized he had been screwed. I think he has been po’d ever since.
His answer to why he supports earmarks was absolutely tortured. Why anybody could take this guy seriously is beyond me. Not just his foreign policy statements ...the guy comes across as a raving lunatic no matter the subject.
Your right we shouldn’t call her a bitch and complain about her hair and makeup.
The way she lied about Gingrich’s position on abortion and let Romney get a pass on the subject.......
She is a dishonest, lying scumbag. There fixed it for you.
No excuse for lying about some else’s record.
I agree completely. It's becoming blatantly obvious that Newt's (and America's) worst enemies are not the dimmacrats, but the pundits and establishment Republicans.
Gingrich wasn’t given the proper amount of time to respond to the charges leveled against him, but that’s all right. Debates are not fair.
Good read about our “Victory in Iraq”....interesting comment from Col.North as well...
...”It is far safer to be a civilian in Iraq today than it is in Mexico.”.....Oliver North
OK, here's a real brief one: ;-)
Perry did very well.
Newt was also very good.
Michele Bachmann was good, but then got kind of naggy like she does (with Newt this time.)
Romney was stiff, boring and sounded like the slimy salesman he always sounds like.
Ron Paul was OK until they got on the Iran subject and then he went off the deep end in a big way. Ranting and raving like something in an insane asylum.
I cut these things off at the pass with my ‘penicillin soup”, ‘snuff’ ginger, lots of honey.
Penicillin Soup: Into at least 1 1/2 quarts boiling chicken broth (NOT CANNED - that just water they drag a chicken bone through. Either make my own of use “Better Than Bouillon” broth paste (Comes in 8 ounce jars - seems like it cost a lot, but at about $5 - it’s CHEAP in the long run as it only taste ONE TSP to make 8 oz of broth! That’s gallons worth in a jar. I love having it on hand - good for quick gravies and soups too..
So, slice up 3-4 onions, a whole bulb of garlic (not a clove - the whole bulb) 1 tsp thyme, 2 tsp crushed fresh ginger or 1 tsp powdered (have a hanky ready cause it will break everything up FAST and you be a-blowing as it gets cleared out) some parsley, 1 tsp sage and 1 tsp crushed rosemary...
Put above into boiling broth, cover, take off heat and let steep at least 15 minutes. Strain off and drink a cup - repeat every hour for 4 hours - VERY IMPORTANT.
Then a cup every 3-4 hours.
Take 1 tsp to 1 tbl honey for sore throat and coughing. - Honey is a great germ killer. And before bed, take a tablespoon of honey with 1 tsp fresh lemon juice or organic cider vinegar - kills germs, soothes throat and help to go sleep and sleep through the night.
I find that on the rare occasions I don’t prevent a cold/flu in the first place - and start getting it full blown - the soup knocks it out in two days instead of two weeks.
I can almost hear the person screaming into the moderaters ear mic...
DAMN!! he’s just to good! Just try ignoring him!
Go Newt!
And RUN Paul being a leader in the coming weeks? Well maybe so, if he goes back to Sunny Hills Asylum very soon.
