Very good points. Romney was really bad when he was thrown off of his script. He was not expecting Wallace to hit him with the abortion question, OR the fact that he got caught in another lie and had to explain that one away.
The result; Didn't work. And Santorum took ol’ ROM to the woodshed. That one was Priceless..........

"I noticed that in the last two debates. It appears to me Perry has become more Newtonian. It has served Perry well and he is rising in the debates. Perry is a good study."Newt is astute enough to have noticed that also. I believe that Perry really wants to be President first, but has for years wanted to be head of Homeland Security. Just my gut feeling.

Newt took the high road but I wish he'd said, "Are you now accusing me of supporting infanticide?? Michele, you need to get a grip!"
To: make no mistake
True, but that is bad history now.
My main point is that Newt will exploit Obie's weaknesses to the fullest possible extent.

Excellent article. Thanks! I like Ollie and saw him once in Baghdad in 2006.
We definitely left a much better Iraq than what our wonderful troops found in March of 2003.

I just got up to look at the widescreen. HD is right. Way over done. What a shame. Her performance was shrill, mean and she told vicious lies. Some would say that she “stretched the truth.” I think she’s been coached by Glenn Beck. I hope she comes in last in her “home state.”

I really enjoyed RIck explaining the fatal flaw in Paul’s cold war analogy. M.a.d. doesn’t work when the enemies goal isarmageddon...been yelling that at TV for seemingly years

He said he wasnt willing to purge candidates over the issue. That makes him a big tent Republican but it doesnt make him a supporter of partial-birth abortion.Yes, I already agreed with that point.

“Newt knows exactly what needs changing RIGHT NOW, and he can git’er done in a few weeks, except what must be changed by Congress, and that might take the first year.”
That's what I think too. He has broader and deeper knowledge of the job as well as history and the constitution than the others.
Plus after withstanding the all out attacks and responding calmly, coherently, and concisely I would vote for Newt if the primary was now.
Glad to see Gov Perry doing better too. I started out really liking Michelle, but she is toast for me now.

Newt has persuaded me over to his camp. After tonights debate I can see I made the right decision. That's exactly what he will do with congress once he's there, and they'll say the same thing as he moves that which needs to be done in Washington.
This is one of the reasons we so much need Newt now...his plan is excellant..and make no mistake it will take time to impliment ...only because he's got to rid washington of all the crap that remains of Obamas administration at the same time...a two prong deal.
I will look forward to all of it!

I would add though that if he is Big Tent enough to accept Republicans that support partial birth abortion then it must be acceptable to him. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

I agree, I loved Perry’s answers. The audience did too, he got a lot of applause with his, Iam the Tim Teabow of the presidential race and how he would get to the debate with Obama early. Just a few of the things he said.
