Scarborough says if choice comes down to Obama vs. Gingrich, like Glenn Beck he’d consider voting for Ron Paul as a third-party candidate. Ping to Today show list.

So, basically what Beck and Scarborough are saying is that they’d vote to re-elect Obama, just not directly so they can have political cover, right?

Sure, why not? I mean, what more damage could an Obama second term do anyway?

If Beck wants to help Obama then he is no different than some guy that is voting for him.

And isnt Ron Paul seriously Anti-Israel?

Anybody, including Beck, who advocates voting for Ron Paul, is actually advocating the reelection of Obama. No ifs ands or buts.

Anyone supporting a third-party run by Trump or Paul, fully knowing the consequences, is doing nothing more than abetting Obamination II. Defeating Obama is enough of a cliff-climb without splitting the GOP vote.

Ole Joe says if it comes right down to it, he will support the DNC, who own NBC/MSNBC outright and pays his slary.

I think Romney is a corrupt, craven tool of international bankers.

If he is the nominee I will vote for him.

I think Paul is a whackjob.

If he is the nominee I will vote for him.

IOW, either a whackjob or a corporate tool of greed is better for this country than four more years of 0.

Principled perhaps, but foolish and therefore ultimately unprincipled.

This is politics, not moral philosophy.

If you have the near mathematical certainty that your vote will send the common good called “THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” back into the arms of the undoubtedly MORE (most?) damaging candidate (not to mention his gang of unsavory buddies, i.e. Zars), well, how can you avoid keeping that in mind? Baby bathwater?

Never mind the fact that it would be most unprincipled of Ron Paul to run against the winner of the very same primaries he participated in. The losers should graciously step aside, congratualte the winner and offer at least symbolic support to the man chosen by the people.

I personally hope that Ron Paul does well and I have no trouble saying that - heaven forbid - Romney were to win, I’d hold my nose and vote for him.

ABO - anything but Obama.

Anyhow to vote not caring that the consequences will OBVIOUSLY deliver even worse is saying: “I believe in utopia more than reality”.

How about option C? A compromise? NOT voting at all then?

Scarborough: Like Beck, I'd Consider Third-Party Ron Paul Over Gingrich

Forget a third-party, how about an actual second party. Instead of blaming so-called third-party contenders, blame the GOP for putting up such wretched candidates.

Why is it a certainty that Obama wins in a three way race, anyway? Are average Republicans such mind numbed robots that they'll vote for any lump of meat in a suit and tie the GOP rolls out, no matter how disgustingly liberal and anti-American.

Nevermind.
