I still remember an interview with Charles Heston where he described during the LA riots, bunches of liberal friends calling him up asking to borrow guns from him. He told them just go out to a gun store and get one. “Well, there’s this waiting period” they’d say. He said “Well you voted for people who said that was a good idea.”

I don’t believe he loaned any of them any of his firearms. Weren’t trained to handle them anyway. Much less take care of them properly.

Just pick up a Saiga. Not cheap ($800-$2000 depending on options), but if you need more than one 12 gauge round they are one of the best options out there. Not an attractive weapon, but it is going to work when you need it.

It is my understanding of the Matthew Shephard incident that it was simply a beef between meth heads. The fact that Shephard was gay did not play into his death, but the pro-gay media jumped on his sexuality in order to manufacture another martyr and continue the lie that homosexuals are being oppressed in this country. If anything, homosexuals in 21st century USA have to be the most privileged, protected class of people in the history of the world.

That said, if Shephard had had a gun, he probably wouldn't be dead.

I have to see if I can find any info on why he was murdered. If he died because of his drug using...and the others were the same (and I think you might be right), his be gay doesn't have much to do with it (unless he was unhappy being gay).

That said, noone should kill GAYS, unless your life (or your family's life) are threatened.

I have often thought of building a buttstock for a break action single shot that has a built in “pez dispenser” like shell dispenser. Break the barrel and grab a shell and slide it into the barrel. The “pez dispenser” could even be made to utilize detachable box magazines.

I've had similar ideas, but the wrist of a shotgun buttstock is a weak spot to begin with. Notice how the "Speedfeed" buttstocks have the magazine components and loading port well clear of the handgrip area.
