GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann learned that protesters often come in adorable packages. A video captures the Minnesota congresswoman greeting 8-year-old Elijah and his mom at a signing event for Bachmann's book, "Core of Conviction: My Story," in South Carolina.

The candidate, who is an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage, met her match with the soft-spoken, pint-sized activist. The video shows Bachmann leaning in to listen closely as the youngster whispers, "My mommy's gay, but she doesn't need fixing."

Perhaps ‘influence’ rather than ‘control’ would be a better term to use.

We are moved to make choices that are righteous or evil by the Holy Spirit or evil spirit, and yes I believe there is an evil one.

Sin exists due to the fall of Lucifer, and his continued existence as Satan. He exists because God allowed him to, to allow the universe to witness the wages of sin.

For that reason, it can be said sin exists because God has allowed it to up until now, but it is not my take that God is responsible for evil. He is responsible for allowing all the beings he created, to fully fathom what sin is all about, the unimaginable things that it would lead to.

At some point, evil is shown to be the destroyer of people, harmony, and happiness that is is. Then God can destroy it once and for all.

He desired his creations to serve him out of love and respect rather than fear. Understanding evil, his creations would understand the need to expunge evil. Allowing free will was the only way. He could understand knowing all, but his creations must be allowed to see it for themselves, as ugly as it is.

Liberals are cowards, and this was an Occupier too. But the video gives the Left license to frame the "debate" as "brave 8-year old vs. the bigot Bachmann", and omit any background info about the woman or what she did. Of course if you are a conservative who has your 8-year old tell Obama he caused your Daddy to lose his job, prepare to have your life turned inside out.

It is astonishing to me how many people are still comfortable being a Democrat, a devout Leftist.
I have lived in South Carolina for the last 28 years and I am astonished at how many African Americans consider themselves to be devout Christians, yet they vote Democrat all the time.

Israel is losing it's global support, what little it ever had. I see no religious prediction that it will be destroyed at this stage of civilization.

So does anybody have an 8 year old they can trot out at an Obama rally to say, “My mommy is a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, and she says you want to kill babies. Is that true”. I’m sure no one in the media would have a problem with that.

I for one would love to see that. The problem is, it would never even occur to us conservatives to use our kids that way.

That does stand out, but there are many whites who have no excuse for doing the same thing.

What I find particularly sad, is that the South was solid Democrat in the days of the Klan.  You go back to the Civil War, and blacks have been kept down by them for over 150 years.  The political figures who fought against the civil rights movement, were largely Democrats.  Until yesterday, if you can believe it, I never knew that Martin Luther King was a registered Repbubican. (I've got to do some research to make sure that's true.  If so, WOW!"  The Great Society programs were largely Democrat programs, intended to help blacks, but even they undeniably destroyed the black family more effectively than any prior Klan contrivance did.  When you add in abortions, and the massive numbers of black women who have them, it's as if genocide was devised and implemented to reduce a black presense in the U.S.  Who drives that?  Democrats.

None the less, blacks vote almost as a solid block for Democrats.  It's a real shame they do.

The lesbian didn’t see the irony in being a lesbian mother. Just how does one become a lesbian mother? Don’t you still need a man in some way in order to become a mother? If she had her son from a previous heterosexual relationship, she needed a man to impregnate her. If she adopted the boy, she needed a heterosexual couple to give the child life and if she had the child by artificial insemination, she would still need a man.

How sad that she would use her innocent little boy who didn’t ask to be born to be used as a pawn for her radical agenda. I pray for that poor little boy. I pray that he will somehow survive the insanity of his mother.
