This was very interesting... This is a terrific test. And it shows results in a number of ways. It clearly indicates that the majority of Americans don't have a clue about what's going on in the world. No wonder our politicians take such advantage of us. It's astonishing that so many people got less than half right. These results say that 80% of the (voting) public doesn't have a clue, and that's pretty scary.
There are no tricks here - just a simple test to see if you are current on your information. This is quite good and the results are shocking.
I believe it was Winston Churchill who opinioned that " . . . the biggest argument against democracy is a 5-minute conversation with the average voter . . ."
Test your knowledge with 13 questions, then be ready to shudder when you see how others did!

13 for 13 here. The questions were very easy.
” To do well, you must watch TV or possibly read a news magazine. Some questions are pictures, as in, whose face is this? “
Yup - that tripped me up on the one I missed - I know who Elena Kagan is, but, since I quit watching televised ‘news’, I have no idea what she looks like....
(By the bye - I’ll bet that if we can get enough FReepers to ‘freep’ this quiz, we could really skew the results... ;))
That was so easy, I got 14 right!
/joke
I picked the real rate, not the government fake rate.
13/13 here, also - and I never went to college.
Anyone that has "gratiated" the sixth grade SHOULD be able to score 100% on that one....
Something from People magazine. Typical of 'rat thinking (sic).
Fortunately FR has plenty of pics posted from thread to thread since I don't watch TV.
Notice in the summary of results, the 65+ grouping had the highest percentage of correct answers in about 10 of 13 categories , and men beat women in 13 of 13!
Hmmmmmmmm
Easy 13/13
I got 11/13 right..I think mine went wrong when the maps came up..Actually it is pretty easy..and fun.
I said I scored better than 74%of the public..
I don’t know about that. I got 13/13 and I never watch TV or read a newspaper.
I do, however, read Free Republic, Drudge Report, Newsbusters and Briebart! Some say a picture (on a web site) is worth a thousand words. Especially funny ones!
Averages 8.5 for males, 6.8 for females.
I'm wondering just where else the quiz popped up to get such abysmal results. College campi?
I got “lucky” on the Great Brit question ‘cause I don’t pay much attention to a place that appears to be already down the tubes to the siren song of sharia.
13/13
Yeah I got less, but then I am a woman!!!
Yeah I got less, but then I am a woman!!!
I missed one, wish I knew which one. I did rip through it, tried to back up once on the Islamic symbol (didn’t know for sure if there was a star in it). Also wasn’t sure of a couple others.
13 out of 13. What’s interesting is that in EVERY single category, men did significantly better than women.
Another reason to repeal the 19th Amendment (...quickly runs away to don flame retardant suit...).
I got one wrong. I know it was the middle eastern country.
Republicans generally outperformed Democrats on the current quiz. On 13 out of the 19 questions, Republicans score significantly higher than Democrats and there are no questions on which Democrats did better than Republicans. In past knowledge quizzes, partisan differences have been more muted, though Republicans often have scored somewhat higher than Democrats.
And yet, both Bill Maher and Jon Stewart told me that Republicans were the dumb ones.... You know, like Sarah Palin and seeing Russsia from her house and all...
