In just a year, Jewish Israelis’ opinion of President Barack Obama has turned on its head, according to a new Saban Center for Middle East Policy poll.
A majority, or 54 percent, now say they have a favorable view of the U.S. president — a year ago, just 41 percent of those polled said they saw Obama in a positive light.
In 2011, 39 percent say they have a negative opinion of Obama, another far cry from his 2010 numbers when 51 percent said they were not fans of Obama. That’s a net 25-point upswing for Obama in Israel.
The good news from Israel offsets the slight negative turn Obama has seen from Jewish American voters: In a Gallup poll released in September, four out of 10 said they disapproved of Obama, and his approval ratings fell from 60 percent in June to 55 percent.
Back in Israel, Obama appears in the top five list of world leaders Jews there say they admire most. With six percent, he comes just behind former President George W. Bush and former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, with 7 percent each, and former President Bill Clinton with 10 percent. Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany reigns as the favorite with 12 percent saying she is the leader outside of Israel they most admire.

I know a LOT of Israelis. They almost all, uniformly, cannot stand Obama.
That is good to hear. I thought even the Jews in South Florida would wise up but guess that is too much to hope for as they are in Dem fraternities and Sororities.
I was in Israel in September. He is not liked there. This is just trying to shore up the Jewish vote.
This claim has been circulating from leftist sources since O’s speech to the UN in September, which was called ‘anti-Palestinian’. Support for one speech is hardly a game-changer.

Wow.. didn’t know the alphabet networks had so diseased Israeli minds as well. I expect dumba**ed American voters to waffle back and forth, but for a people under threat of extinction via one well-placed Iranian nuke... oh, well...

For whatever else you have to say about them, Israel is a fairly Socialist country. And they have been having noisy, raucous, OWS-style “give me more” protests lately.
I doubt it. Sounds like the same people that brought you the 8.6% unemployment rate. Just the not too bright leftist trying to buck up the f!ckup!
For the life of me I can’t think of any reason that Jewish approval for Obama would be on the increase.
