I’d like to work at one of the local hardware stores in our little town. I won’t miss the 70 mile round trip four days a week. That is the only good thing about 10 hour days.
The AM commute isn’t bad since I start at 0630, but leaving downtown Austin at 1700 is a mess. I drive two of the most congested freeways in the area. Only IH 35 is worse.
2nd day in a row Rush has contradicted Mark Steyn.

There is a jaw dropping clip in which a meeting is being held and overseen by Stalin, and various Stalin butt kissers are requesting that their quotas be increased. The quotas they are talking about is "enemies" who must be shot. And there, is our old buddy Nikita Khrushchev, requesting that his quota be increased to 17,000. Of course, these people were not enemies, but Stalin had to be placated, so many additional thousands of people who shot as a result of this meeting.
My darkest hate is reserved for Stalin, his henchmen, his enablers in the United States media, and those who currently profess to love Communism. Damn them all to hell.
They seem to have a marginal turnover rate, and I have some things I need to do to the house. Actually, I haven’t paid for fuel since 1992 when I started a van pool from my area into downtown Austin. Capital Metro pays for the fuel.

I wish you and your family the best. They are trying to retire people nowadays early because they ran out of money or otherwise firing folks. Sad deal what is going on with the economy. People are supposed to be working, but with some work they fire to reduce costs.
