To: American Quilter

I’d like to work at one of the local hardware stores in our little town. I won’t miss the 70 mile round trip four days a week. That is the only good thing about 10 hour days.

The AM commute isn’t bad since I start at 0630, but leaving downtown Austin at 1700 is a mess. I drive two of the most congested freeways in the area. Only IH 35 is worse.

Working in a hardware store sounds great! I hope someone will decide to retire or move so you can apply for that job.

Your commute sounds awful. You’ll probably cut your gas bill by at least 50% once that’s over.
