Pro-Palin group to run ads in Iowa

(CNN) - A pro-Sarah Palin group will start airing TV ads Wednesday in Iowa, urging the former Alaska governor to reconsider her decision against running for president.

Palin announced she wouldn't launch a White House bid in early October, ending years of speculation that the 2008 GOP vice presidential running mate might seek the Republican nomination in 2012.

Conservatives4Palin, a large online group, made the ad buy for $6,500.

The group said the ad will air for a week in Sioux City, with spots during ABC's "Good Morning America" and "Dr. Oz," as well as during local news programs in the evening.

Won’t people ever wake up that it is the Main Stream Media that chooses our candidates. Sara Palin is not to their liking.

I believe Sarah Palin turned it down because she knew it would expose her family to the meat grinder that pretends to be news media. This wouldn’t change anything about that.

Unless a cadre of viciously aggressive lawyers wants to volunteer to run personal interference for Sarah Palin (kind of what Herman Cain has engaged, except writ large for Sarah Palin) I don’t know why she’d do it.

I suspect the GOP as the main culprit; she threatened to rock their cozy world.

Which is EXACTLY what needs to happen. The GOP and the Dems are the Hydra...

Someone needs to be big enough to deconstruct this mess, and leave the national security piece intact in the process.

She was my bet.

When are people going to let this go? She’s not running. Period. What are these people? Cultist? It’s disturbing.

The 8 candidates that are officially in the race today are it. Unless some disastrous 3rd party run occurs.

Let me get this straight. She didn’t run because of what the evil Republican establishment was going to do to her?

I’m glad she decided not to run, she has no guts.

I have no reason for believing it was anything but 99% a Rat problem. Republicans didn’t set up the frivolous lawsuit machine that pestered Palin out of the governor’s office.

I’m guessing the odds of a third party to be about 70-80%

The GOP insiders want Myth because it is his turn.

The Tea Party will not tolerate Myth.

There will be no front-runner by the time the convention rolls around.

It will be a brokered convention, and it will be completely out of the hands of the Mythters.

I think she waited to see if Christie was gonna get in, to see if the RINO vote would have been split. The very week Christie said he wasn’t running, she talked to Levin.

Hmmm....

If the ad is directed to Sarah, shouldn't they be running it in Alaska rather than Iowa?

“Let me get this straight. She didn’t run because of what the evil Republican establishment was going to do to her?”

You don’t know her history with the GOP, evidently. Really best not jump into this one.

She was the only reliable conservative we had in the race and I’d say she had more backbone than you can imagine.

The dems were always the enemy since 2008; she laid out the Crony Capitalism agenda, etc. at Indianola on 9/3.

You add it up. Rockin’ the R status quo brought the real heat.

Then why did’t she run?

Didn’t want to take a salary cut?

Indeed, political cult of personalities are sad things to witness.

On a brighter note, is that a pan flute I hear in this ad? It's so loud it almost dominates the commercial.
