BREAKING!! Aide: Herman Cain will stay in the race
The State Column ^ | Nov 29, 2011 | Staff

After reports surfaced Tuesday morning that pizza magnate Herman Cain is reassessing his 2012 Republican presidential nomination bid, POLITICO obtained a statement from a Cain campaign spokesman regarding his candidates’ consideration of dropping out of the race.

“Yes,” the campaign spokesman said Tuesday when asked whether Cain would “definitely” remain in the race.

The clarification comes after the National Review Online released statements that Cain made in a conference call with campaign aides Tuesday morning. During the call, Cain made the following statements, “We have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some people’s minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth,” Cain said.

I not sure about the 13 yr affair, but these allegations are all coming from his 3 years with the National Restaurant Assn. I would suggest first looking there. It seems peculiar that these “offenses” only occurred in this time span and there are no other complaints.

I'm curious...you don't think it wiser to withhold your cash for a few days, to make sure that in fact he does stay in the race...

or, tell me..if you donate tomorrow, and a day or so later, he drops out, do you think he should return your donation?

He saying that America is still the shining city and we can return to the top of the hill. He also says he will never apologize for America’s greatness.

He’s dead Jim.

Sorry had to say it.

Honestly, although these accusations won’t change my opinion of the man, his campaign is in some serious trouble.

Just received:

Dear Patriots and Supporters,

As you probably heard yesterday, a troubled Atlanta business woman used national media outlets to promulgate a fabricated, unsubstantiated story about a 13 year affair with me. I am writing you today to assure you that this woman’s story is completely false.

I do know Ms. White. I have helped her financially at times over the past few years, just as I have helped many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. I thought Ms. White was a friend in need of a supportive hand to better her life.

Ms. White has made it apparent that she was abusing the friendship.

But now I am asking for your friendship. I am also asking for your prayers and support. This is a trying time for my family, my campaign, and for me. It is also a trying time for our country as we are all distracted from the truly important issues facing our nation.

This evening I have an important speaking engagement at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, where I will be outlining my foreign policy and national security plan. While recent events have taken a toll on me, the people in the audience this evening will not know it. I will deliver my message with vigor and enthusiasm.

Let me assure you, I am not deterred. America’s future is too important. We will continue on this journey to make America great once again.

Thank you and God bless.

Sincerely,

Herman Cain

You are a coward and quitter. Not one of these accusations has held up—not one. This last one was created because Cain’s alleged hitting on dumb blonds didn’t get traction. So they find a homely black women who is unemployed and trot her out. Cain, as a Christian, apparently gave her money over the years. She was probably hoping for more than money along the way. Didn’t pan out.

She turns out to be just another slime bag bimbo.

But hey, you’re just all a twitter with the idea Cain’s candicy is dead—aren’t you?

If you tske time to read the posts you’ll see that most of us have not lost our enthusiasm for the man.

And you know what else? Even if some of the slime sticks I’m sticking with Cain. You know why? Because if I had to choose between Perry, Romney, Gingrich and Cain to fix the country I would choose Cain.

Either we need Cain to rise to the challenge, or we need the return of Sarah Palin to fill the yawning vacuum. I don’t see any other choices now, and 2012 is probably the last chance our country will get.

Right on the money, my friend. We've got Herman, and if he sinks, we've got to do whatever it takes to get Sarah to step back in.

They're the only two on the horizon that I trust to carry out the will of the American people in the frightful days ahead.

Looks like a good crowd at Hillsdale college.

He’s taking pictures and shaking hands. The secret service are easy to spot.

“I’m sure that will allow you to feel very high-minded and self-righteous about yourself.”

I’m sure that there are a lot of people (I’m one) who will sleep just fine. Anyone who wants to try and make it without the conservative bitter clinger vote is welcome to try. I’d rather write in my vote than give in to a bunch of traitorous parasites.
