Herman Cain’s chief of staff Mark Block confirmed to ABC News that the candidate told his senior staff this morning that he is reassessing whether he should stay in the race, as reported by the National Review. Cain told his staff in a conference call that he’ll make his final decision “over the next several days.” Cain has been dogged by reports of sexual harassment in recent weeks. On Monday, a Georgia woman said she had a 13-year long affair with the former chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza. Cain denied the affair, saying that he knew the woman but did not have an extramarital affair. Two other women have publicly accused Cain of sexual harassment when he was head of the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990′s.

Palin quit her governorship to make money.

Oh ?!? You know that for certain.

I don't trust the LEFT. The LEFT is well funded, the LEFT is well organised and the LEFT are completely ruthless. The LEFT and its aparachiks in the MSM, manipulate and "spin".

And yet, according to what you have stated, even asking "What if" would be a waste of time.

“There are rumors all over the ‘net about Perry’s affairs. Whether they are true or not, if, by some miracle, Perry’s fortunes should rise again, they will be dragged out.”

AND, they SHOULD be brought out! Who wants anyone in office who can be threatened or blackmailed by foreign governments? The enemy is not Perry. The enemy is Barack Obama!
I’m a Perry supporter. If anything were to be revealed that would endanger his ability to lead or govern, (other than a stupid rock and a forgotten department elimination) I’d want to know about it well in advance. I can’t understand why Cain supporters think everything would be fine if the public just didn’t know about it.

Exactly. It could be 60 calls to him and 1 call back to her telling her to quit calling.

Here’s a portion of what one of those staffers who was in on the conference call is saying: “The sentiment on the conference call suggested that Mr. Cain was aware of the gravity of the challenges facing his candidacy. He said that he would wait to see the reaction from his supporters before making a final decision.

“It’s also taken a toll on my wife and family, as you would imagine,” Mr. Cain said at the end of the call, according to National Review. He added, “For some people, you’re guilty until proven innocent. And so, the public will have to decide whether they believe her or whether they believe me. That’s why we’re going to give it time, to see what type of response we get from our supporters.”

We can write info@hermancain.com and let them know we support Mr. Cain

He called her 61 times in 13 years? Doesn’t sound like much of an affair to me.

Either Cain has a “thing” for unstable, dishonest, and financially desperate women, or he’s been lynched.

Neither Gingrich nor Romney have a chance of attracting any of the Blacks that make up Obama’s core support. If Cain drops out, it’s a safe bet Obama gets another term. I’d rather see Obama get another term with a Republican controlled House and let the Democrats destroy their credibility for a generation or two.

I will not vote for either of the RHINOs Gingrich or Romney. The only reason I bothered to vote for McCain was because of Palin.

If you’re really interested in these rumors, just do a google search. And then post them here. Non-Perry supporters who post these rumors, see them disappeared within minutes.

Perry ... comes off as a dunce in the debates.

I’d say that Perry was revealed to BE a dunce, in the course of the debates.

He’s not a bad debater. He’s just simply not a swift thinker. We don’t need a genius to be a good President, but he or she needs to be sharp, and Perry isn’t.

“Looks like Karl Rove and Mitt Romney will be successful in driving out Cain. ..”

I must have missed something.

Where did you get that information? I may be naive, but I can't see anyone in the Republican field doing such. It is typical of Democrats such as the Clintons, Obama, etc., but I think our side this year stays out gutter politics.

That’s about once every 2 1/2 months. If that’s an affair, it’s not typical. My guess is the flame was only burning on one side.

Perry is definitely no dunce.

Great debaters do not make great presidents. I would much prefer to have a debater who thinks before answering instead of flipping out prepared and practiced replies. Of course, considered responses don't fit into today's media format - 30 seconds and out.

Paul drop out? In your dreams! He’s tied for front runner status in many Iowa polls.

“Its going to be Mitt whether we like it or not”

I really don’t think it will be Mitt. Nobody wanted him in 2008 and nobody really wants him now. Newt seems to be leading in Iowa and SC by a good margin. I hate to see Herman bite the dust but it looks like he will be pulling out in a few days and most of his support will probably go to Gingrich.

Looks like we have nobody worthwhile in this race.

I can't support Romney or Gingrich. What's left? It would be fairly easy for me to convert to supporting Perry, although I don't think he has a good chance of beating Obama, but the Perry supporters atrocious conduct leaves me wondering whether I want to be associated with that group.

As far as I'm concerned there is no longer a GOP to vote for. It's too corrupt from the top down to ever again support as a party. I am now waiting to see which conservative steps forward as an Independent.

Newt I will never trust again and his see sawing the past few years on important issues to please crowds makes it more so. Perry is simply Bush 3 meaning another trade stooge who will push otherwise moderate agendas, and Romney? No way. The so called Grand Old Party is a Grand Old Rockefeller Republican Liberal Oligarchy and anyone else need not apply. No Thanks none for me.

Block will be history, his lawyer says one thing the candidate says another there’s no coordination who’s fault is that ? If he drops out the hypenates will do exactly as I predict and make Cain the victim card which will play well with a key group in their re-election strategy particularly against Romney.

***After being called a racist, nazi, xenophobe etc by the newticles over the last few weeks. Newt can kiss my ass.***

I hope you will not judge the candidates by his/her most rabid supporters; I hate the vicious exchanges also.

Stay safe and sane. This too shall pass.

Its going to be Mitt whether we like it or not.

Then it's going to be Obama, whether we like it or not.

There has never been a rumor in Texas about Perry having an affair. You are wrong, so stop.
