Meanwhile the GOP refuses to give us a candidate worth voting for.

If Cain leaves, Newt will be in for the fight of his life. Newt will be attacked in a way that makes these Cain allegations look tame in comparison.

Great news for Perry, looks like he’s my guy. Cain lost me over the Fed position, it needs to go away.......

I will be disappointed if he drops out. For once, I would like to see someone say. Yep, so what. Now let’s get back to making me President of the United States. I am not saying he did this, but sheesh the media hates this guy so much.

I’d be reassessing too. Why would anyone run for president as a conservative in this country?

Anyhow, if Cain leaves the race, I won’t be voting.

The only reason... the ONLY reason he would consider this is because he doesn’t want the truth to come out about this woman. Clearly, IMHO, there must be some truty to what she is alleging. Sad. the only candidates that are otherwise clean are Romney, Perry, Bachman, Paul and Santorum

So, with Cain out that leaves us with a Liberal, a serial adulterer, an illegal loving moron, a fruitcake, a self-immolating conservative fruitcake, a conservative who never really even ran a campaign, and an even bigger liberal than Mittens.

UGH

The cumultive weight of these false accusations have buried Herman. I don’t think he even has a shot as a VP candidate now - he’s pretty much radioactive politically.

Sad. Even though Cain was never my candidate, I liked him.

I think he knows that this “affair” revelation is going to take on a life of its’ own and he needs to take it off the headlines and make peace with his wife.

"Herman Cain told his senior staff that he is “reassessing” whether to remain in the race"

translation: It's over.

If it really is news to Mrs. Cain that Herman has had a 13-year ‘friendship’ with this latest woman, whom he called more than 60 times in a few months supposedly because he was trying to help her financially—but the woman says it was an affair—it is understandable that he might not be in a position to press on.

And the fault would be Mr. Cain’s.

It’s sad but the writing has been on the wall for some time now. The G.O.P. establishment will not allow an outsider to win the nod. The Democrats cannot allow Cain and Obama to stand on the same stage.

Wether Cain did these things or not is beside the point, they will continue to bring these largely unsubstantiated charges out of nowhere until people grow so weary of defending him that even his most ardent supporters will ask him to withdraw.

I am sick of it already, I am looking at Newt and Perry. I like Perry better on policy but the idea of him debating Obama scares the living hell out of me. Criminy, he makes “Dubya” sound like a flippin’ genius!

Newt? I disagree FAR more with Newt on policy but there exists no scenario in my mind where he does not mop the debate stage with Obama.

Coin flip I guess.

Will be a huge boon to Gingrich. Honestly, Gingrich is an imperfect choice, but he is more conservative than either of the Bush’s, and certainly would be better than ObamaRomney.

Again, better to know now; than October 2012. The primary process is ugly, dirty, and bloody.
But it has a purpose.

BS Herman!!! Don’t give them what they want!!! Did you think this was going to be easy???

Did you really think the left was going to play by the rules???

Are you really that Naive???

If you fail to take this bull by the horns and bury a sword through it’s heart, then maybe you shouldn’t be president.

Stand up and fight dammit!

Cain is way done.

I predicted that 2 weeks ago.

A no brainer.

What will happen is the Bush/Rove Republican frauds will be pushing Perry down everyone's throat...

Same old cheet...Different year..Another open borders president from Texas.

America is screwed.
