Like one of his earlier accusers, the latest woman to accuse Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain of sexual misconduct has a history of financial trouble, with a threat of eviction for non-payment of rent just two weeks ago.
Ginger White, who claimed in an interview with Atlanta Fox News affiliate WAGA to have had a 13-year-affair with Cain, has liens and civil judgments in Kentucky and Georgia dating back to 1994.
Eleven of those liens have been filed since 2009, with nine in 2011. The owners of her apartment complex in Dunwoody, Georgia have sued her for non-payment of rent nearly every month since the beginning of the year.
White, a 46-year-old unemployed single mother who is at least twice divorced, was described by WAGA as an Atlanta-area businesswoman. While living in Louisville, Kentucky, she worked at Recruitment Plus, LLC. According to WAGA, she filed a sex harassment claim against an employer ten years ago, and the case was settled. The station also found a bankruptcy filing from the late 1980s.
In January, there is a scheduled court date in an unrelated civil suit filed against her by a former business partner, Kimberly Vay, who alleges that White stalked and harassed her and had sought a protective order. A judge has entered a default judgment in Vay's favor. [snip]

Let’s see what else comes out on this and I will answer your question. Why would he select such a friend? after all he is supposed to be a brilliant man? I am careful about who I give my cell number out to but on the other hand the Cain folks are saying this woman is a known lowlife with a proven history as such...which is it? he has friends in low places where the whiskey flows and the music chases the blues away....
If this woman indeed turns out to be a ho, I would agree with you that Cain does not surround himself with honorable people. Until we know more, it is highly premature, and presumptuous to skewer Cain about the “low life” company etc. More details will surely surface. Until then it is premature to proclaim “Cain is finished”.
I certainly don’t assume he’s guilty of anything but poor campaign skills at this point.
That lawyer was supposed to show how Cain was great at managing problems by getting good people he could trust.
But if you are going to send out a lawyer to say that an alleged affair is nobody’s business, you don’t also have the candidate come out and claim the story is a lie.
Because even if you would accept that the media has no business asking whether a candidate had an affair or not, I can say with absolute certainty that a candidate accusing a woman of lying about an affair is absolutely something the press should and will investigate fully.
So if you wanted to get the press to back down, Cain had to stay silent. And since you have to assume the campaign coordinated the response, it means Cain thought it was a good idea to deny the affair and then have his lawyer tell the press it wasn’t any of their business. And that is the problem I see here.
Oh no, I would say after one or two...maybe but the numbers are going up and he is acting strange. The man is finished....the end.
See, this is what I meant. You can’t say it’s nobody’s business, and then have your campaign tweeting attacks on the woman.
You have to choose your response.
And with wisdom beyond your years! -:)
Talk host Rusty Humpries interviewed the Fox reporter who broke the story through the local FOX affiliate. Being familiar with how things work, The reporter admitted “working” on the story for a week. By working the thrust of her statements was that she decided to “defend the other women who she claimed were being (paraphrased)villified and wanted to defend them. She claimed Cain dropped her when he decided to make his run.
Story concepts and direction usually come from the editor. Even though this came through FOX that doesn’t mean this gal was not worked on.
If Cain was a dema-com she’d be be dipped and cooked in effluent. As it is what the MSM is going to do is bring on GS/BS and play and replay the victim device. We can’t have some uppity conservative black running for office...
; ~ )
It isn’t about truth or innocence. IT is about smear.
Besides, the democrats know well enough, tell a lie often enough and some idiot somewhere will believe it.
What was the phrase, there’s a sucker born every minute. I am not buying this affair crap.
I’m ashamed to see such cannibalistic conservatives such as yourself.
Somebody said something bad about one of our guys? OK, burn him at the stake.
Grow some balls, katie.
So I will state the following...and not post an “if he is innocent/guilty” so I don't become redundant before each thought. (keep in mind they are only thoughts).
Mr. Cain's atty publicly stated that anyone else coming forward with accusations better have proof. I guess that will remain to be seen. Thirteen years is a long time to have no proof.
This lady may have had a relationship with Mr. Cain and got her knickers in a knot when all the other accusations were aired. Sort of like...Hey, how dare you cheat on me (real “relationship” or not) while you are cheating on your wife with me. Gives a whole new meaning to...I'll get you my pretty. AND..you dump me and take your financial support away for a presidential run???
In Mr. Cain's defense...if there is a shred of truth...what man who has had the whistle blown on him would not give an adamant denial? Hey, he might not be president, but I feel sure he doesn't want to lose his wife. Sort of like an acquaintance used to say...What are you gonna believe, what your lyin’ eyes see or what I'm tellin’ you.
I like Mr. Cain. I like him a lot. But this doesn't bode well for him. That being said, I could still vote for him.
And my heartfelt sorrow goes to his wife and family. Whether the accusations are true or not.
This lady is a businesswoman about like Jessie Jackson is a Rev.
All of Newt’s stuff is already out there. He’s like Glenn Beck. I think Newt is innoculated at this point.
Amazing to see after all of the posts on the various threads regarding this, you are the first to point out the obvious!!! You win the Kewpie Doll FRiend!
Oh please. You and the handful of other shills around here will attack Cain no matter what the truth is.
Innocent of lies and vicious personal attacks? Oh well it’s his fault for not magically preventing it.
If he says something he is lying, if he is quiet he is hiding something.
Once again we have a shady woman making accusations with ZERO proof. But you hate Cain so you run with it. She could have sent him 60 texts and he sent her one but the media says there are 61 texts to and from the two. Why not just show us what Cain texted her? Why is there never a smoking gun?
BTW you saying his stance is wrong that private consensual affairs should be private while denying a specific allegation is pure stupidity on your part.
I think we’ll probably hear from his attorney tomorrow. He has a reputation of being one of the best in the nation. In watching this drama unfold, I think I now know why he responded as he did— But, we’ll see-— if it blows up on the campaign, then you’ll be right.
Incidentally, I’m also in Ct- how’s Malloy treating you?
Here we go again, Cain said Monday to Blitzer. We will basically show, when the details become available, that I didnt do anything wrong. When the details become available ??? A married man who has a personal relationship with a woman for 13 years ( unbeknownst to his wife and family ) and who gives her money has already done something wrong. Even if it was platonic .
Kudos on the sound analysis: in short, what has already been admitted by Cain appears to constitute inappropriate behavior:
1. He had a 13 year "friendship" with a woman, yet oddly his wife knew nothing of her existence. If I had a 13 year "friendship" with someone of the opposite sex that I never mentioned to my wife, I know well-and-good what would be going on.
2. They called each other, according to one account, over 60 times in a 4-month period. For those of you who can't do the math, that's once every other day - for months on end. That's a pretty odd "friendship" with a woman that your wife knows nothing about, isn't it? Oh - and at least one of those calls was at a strange hour to be calling a "friend" of the opposite sex - 4:30AM. The fact that his wife did not know he was talking on the phone in the middle of the night with a female "friend" raises more red flags.
3. Cain said something about wanting to help the woman out financially. Once again, here is a man who has a 13-year relationship with a woman that his wife knows nothing about, and to whom he is (or is apparently seeking to) giving money to. Red flags all around, folks. But that also works against Cain's credibility, for if the woman was indeed emotionally unstable, what the heck was he doing having a 13-year relationship with her, calling her in the middle of the night, and admitting that he wanted to help her out financially? Sheer altruism, i.e., out of the goodness of his heart?
The allegations may well be proven to be false, and the man is innocent until proven guilty. However, the above indicates a pattern of questionable - to say the least - behavior.
So, I see you are anti-Cain. So you vote for someone else. Problem solved.
