Now, there was Paula Jones who never backed down and he had to settle with her...Juanita Broaderick, Kathleen Willey and who knows how many others. You know what makes me angry about all this—it’s Cain’s utter and complete disregard for his wife and family. He had to know these women were out there ready to sell/tell their stories (and how knows how many more to come), and he seems to have put his ambition above all else. How refreshing it would have been to have him admit from the beginning—”I haven’t always been as faithful as I should have been, but I love my country and want to serve.” Wouldn’t that have been easier on his wife and family?
Their patterns of personal behavior make me doubt all of them. I've known plenty of nightmare women before I met my "righteous woman". It's easy to believe there's so many women who simply aren't up to conservative standards of behavior.
