“Ok, just want to be clear with your position, you dont think they are worthy of human dignity because they came here illegally. Is that correct?”
What an ass-bite question to ask!
Where’s our human dignity, our children’s human dignity, our rights to an education, our rights to health care, our private property rights, our rights to a safe environment free from crime, our rights not to have to pay for illegals their children and the rest of their extended whole fam damily?
How about chastising the illegals for a change!
Jim, is that you?
Gingrich is part of an elite establishment with a proven dedication to mass immigration, despite the great harm inflicted upon average Americans. Unless Gingrich really defects from the establishment, he will continue to at least implicitly support mass immigration like the past several presidents up until now. Any Republican candidate that again ignores the popular will on immigration will likely lose to Obama.
That's strange. Ron Paul is the only candidate on my list. Listen to his statements in the debate last night. He's the only one who understands that trading liberty for security is neither necessary nor effective.
And no, I will not stay home on election day. I will vote for whatever clown the Republicans nominate.
Newt is a guy who attempts to fool people with regard to what he would actually govern like. He talks a good game, and then reveals himself to be what he truly is, something totally different.
Too bad, because if he lived up to what he knows to be right, he’s be a very good leader.
Alternative? Sounds like Newt has a hard on for the V.P. slot on Romney’s ticket.
Ron Doughty to the rescue... translating English into English for over 30 years, and still going strong.
“We must draft, nominate and elect Sarah Palin...”
Mean’s...
Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.
...just don’t ask what “mean’s” means. LMAO...
That was back when he thought he could trust Democrats. Remember the deal?
You want conservatives to fall for that lie again?
Might as well be saying “Rape my daughter long enough and you can have her”
I was talking to PackRat35 who called them parasites. I was not talking to everyone who is against amnesty.
In our disgust that our system is overloaded by illegals it’s very easy to start envisioning them no longer as human beings but as filthy animals. They are people and however we end up handling the situation we need to keep their human dignity in mind.
BUMP
Of course I know the deal...and they agreed the border would be secured....it wasn’t...and that there would be a deportation..it didn’t happen. The democrates never keep their word.
This does not change the fact Reagan was for Amnesty of those who had lived here for awhile and contributed to this nation....that’s a fact.
Newt has already said that some illegals “deserve amnesty”
Apparently he thinks if you rape the country long enough, you can be part of the family.
With all due respect, you need to go to the areas where they have taken over middle-class regions of our country, and tell me what it looks like to you. Tell me the strain on local communities, regions, and states don’t amount to them being parasites.
I am not into denigrating a race of people, but I am willing to address what is undeniably taking place today, and the illegals are in fact parasites.
You may not like that fact. I may not like that fact. It is still a fact. BTW: Having people in my family with Mexican ancestry, I will take this time to inform you that the parasite comment is one they use freely as well.
Do you think they are racists for doing so? Do you think they are being insensitive too?
Republicans shouldn't take our votes for granted. The GOP doesn't deserve them "just because". Many FReepers are independent conservatives for a very good reason.
If I were the richest man on Earth the RNC and the partys' other organs would get not a penny ever.
Honest to God, are you seriously going to compare the amnesty Reagan agreed to when he tightened our immigration laws, to the plan for amnesty today?
If you know anything about the Reagan years, you know that Reagan saw illegal immigration as a problem. He agreed to grant amnesty to one million illegals, if the Dems agreed to sign on to new tough legislation that would tighten up our borders and levy serious fines against U.S. employers who hired them.
Compare one million to eleven million, and 3.5 million that signed on to the plan back then, to between 25 and 35 million that would sign on today.
Those are facts too.
BTW: Any plan for immigration reform I have seen, has as part of the plan to open up the flood gates to just about any Mexican that wants to come North, and this through legal means.
You could expect to see an exponentiation of the financial problems associated with today’s illegal immigration, with absolutely no ability to ever get that under control again.
This is what you are buying into, whether you realize it or not.
Contributed to this nation? ROTFLMAO
Undeniably, collected from this nation! That’s another fact you left out.
Thank You for writing this,it needed to be said.
Michael Reagan was on fox news around half hour ago and said his father Ronald Reagan would support Newt's idea on immigration because he would not want families broken up for people who have already been here for long period of time
Simply reading the posts on this thread has convinced me that obama will serve another 4 years & maybe for years to come afterward. Conservatives will never agree on anything and thus they will lose. Say hello to candidate Mitt and goodbye to America.
Perhaps Cain will regain some lost ground. Perhaps not.
