Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
They will have to when the money runs out.
Right now, all our conservatives merit being heard.
Huntsman is not a conservative and Ron Paul is a Libertarian.

HERE’S WHERE WE NEED TO START CUTTING!!!
BILLIONS FOR JIHAD!

It gives billions http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2009/05/1...
of U.S. taxpayer dollars to countries and entities that support Sharia law and/or harbor, hide and support those who want to destroy the U.S. and our allies.
Read the summary from David Obeys office that was quietly released last week with nary a word from any media.

The cost of U.S. military intervention in Libya has cost American taxpayers an estimated $896 million through July 31, the Pentagon said today.
The price tag includes the amounts for daily military operations, munitions used in the operation and humanitarian assistance for the Libyan people.
The U.S. has also promised $25 million in non-lethal aid to the Libyan Transitional National Council, half of which the Defense Department has already on MREs (military lingo for Meals, Ready to Eat).

Does it matter? Herman sounds like a broken record ... "identify the problem."
FINALLY, question on the U.S. border!
Perry getting grilled...
“Where is Cain?? Treated like an idiot and ignored!”
I know - how insulting. But you notice that the Wolf made a point of asking Herman first about supporting or helping Israel in an attack on Iran, hoping to play gotcha. It didn’t work, thankfully.
Herman deserves better. While Ru Paul and his sycophants take up space (ugh).
Very unfair.
good one.
You know, it’s great that all these guys write books, but what books do they READ? That would be an interesting question: find out how well-read they are in history, both American and international.
You drink - I almost ran for my Jose Gold!
CNN: “Our next question will be about the sexual harrasment...”
Audience: “Booooooo!!!”
CNN: “Correction, it’s sexual harrasment at Penn State.”
Audience: “Yessssss!!!”
Those were daggers through the heart on Hutsman and Paul, onyx. I hope you can live with yourself now. LOL!
Foreign policy...What about the Mexican government!
Perry: Starts talking about Iran
Newt would be good on Jeopardy and probably win lots of money with the Daily Double.
Mitt Romney - F* him! I will NEVER EVEN CONSIDER THE TWO-FACED PUKE! I can't stand the sight of the socialist bastard.
Herman Cain - Being shut out by CNN - fear?
Newt Gingrich - Doing well.
Bachmann - Doing much better these past few debates.
Everyone else - Meh...
I happen to believe that is the correct answer.
Politicians who "promise" to do things don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Condoleezza Rice said the same thing the other day. She said "I don't pay any attention to campaign promises, because when they get in the White House, they find out it's a whole new ballgame."
Cain isn't so foolish as to make campaign promises. I happen to like that about him. He talks about his values, but not about promises. The rest of them make (in my opinion false) promises they most likely can't keep.
Perry’s opportunity to shine on the border.....
Of course it is. They want Mitt.
Your knowledge of history hits the limit at the day before yesterday.
Why is Romney looking at Perry like that?
