Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
Shun him!!!
Shame!!!
I’m not sure about that—the Daily Kooks, libs, etc. actually think RuPaul makes sense.
The moderators at the last 2 debates were horrendous.
Why does Blitzer reread every question to Herman Cain like he’s trying to explain something to a retarded kid?
Hank
Pat answer from Cain; he makes me nuts with the important-sounding BS.
Thanks....I thought I heard someone say George Bush was a Conservative Republican. When did that happen? has he changed at last?
Bachmann always good in a debate. Comes in informed and ready.
I think CNN has had some of the best debates so far.
Holy crap. Wolf feeding Cain the question like a kindergarten teacher. Is it because he is so “very very black”?
That's their point...make us look like idiots and ron Paul leads the charge in every respect! He's so embarrassing to this nation.
correct.
the bushs, prescott, george herbert and w,
were all liberal republicans.
spend, spend, and spend.
not to mention some liberal social issues.
Some interesting stories of note lately with regards to Iran that I have seen.
1 of the Saudi Clerics said that if Israel does ANYTHING that Iran will take it everywhere ... meaning (I assume) to the USA, etc.
Then another article said that the Saudis and others are nervous about Iran and feel we should do something.
To me, it feels like a set-up. That’s why Newt’s answer made a lot of sense here. If the Muslim countries feel that Iran is an imminent threat now...to the point of telling *us* that we ought to do something ... shouldn’t THEY really do something?
Oh, and Ron Paul is nuts.
Paul is beyond annoying to listen to. Good grief, what a whiny little creep.
Ron Paul reminds me of Kramer: “I’m out there, Jerry! Way out there!”
Cain actually gave the best answer so far. We will continue such funding if it is meeting the desired objectives.
CNN: The Ron Paul network.
You caught that too! Wolf is racist!
“the Syrian no fly zone”
Will it be like the Libyan one, where humanitarian bombs throw things up in the air, that are then considered “Flying”?
