Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
The back of what line? And where is that line located?
What an idiotic analogy.
If a guy robbed a bank 20 years ago and you found him today, would you throw his 12 year old kid in jail?
Geeze. You’re talking to a guy who wants to empower border guards to shoot to kill people crossing the border. But the idea that we’re going to throw all these people and their kids out of the countre en masse is just clown talk.
Hank
You are a magnate for genius, Jane. Now you throw in caveats. Yes, I surveyed the entire country, just like you detailed your poll after poll, by reading what is put in front of me, making a few campaign calls and finding that no where in the country is mass deportation a point of view that is largely appreciated. That is my experience.
On your now revealed caveats, of course, there is a conversation. Next?
A lightweight, I understand that is the media talking point but could you give an example of something he said tonight that didn’t measure up?
Best stick to Texas’ problems, because you don’t know jack about Alabama.
Look into emigration.
There are lots of hoops.
I won’t detail it all
I suppose it would if you waited another 25 years to close the borders. The Perrybots in their wet dreams hope Newt stepped in it tonight but common sense says that this nation is not going to break up second and third generation families. We are going to have to deal with it like it or not. All agree that nothing can be done until the border is sealed.
Read it again, this time carefully and focus. Pretend you are in a English comprehension course.
I never said deport the entire family. My point is to deport the dude who broke the law. If his kids were born here, they did not break any law. Try reading my post again. And this time focus..focus.
That’s prolly a good idea.
Mobile is all I know.
I am just remembering the McCain rise to power. NH is a pox on our nation.
Mr. Cain was right in his statement. Pls see post 1518.
Beautiful! I love it!
mag*nate. noun. wealthy or influential person.
Thank you ;)
Faulty logic! Newt will bring the lefties out of the woodwork to vote against him. The lefties hate him more than other candidates.
The republican turn out on the other hand will be pretty much the same no matter if Newt, Cain or Perry are the nominee.
Yes it does, as the Simpson-Mazzoli amnesty of 1986 has proved beyond any doubt. Since that amnesty - the amnesty to clear up the problem, to be followed by strict enforcement to prevent the problem from recurring - we have 15 million or more illegal aliens here now.
The only thing that will get this problem under control is no more amnesties, strict law enforcement and gradual self-deportation.
There are people who haven't come into this country illegally, who are waiting at the end of the line, to get temporary visas.
If you give visas people who have snuck into this country, then you reward their behavior and you hurt the people who are patiently playing by the rules.
That's a form of amnesty and it will only encourage more people to come into this country illegally.
Whew!
A total erasure of a troll.
Watching the replay——
Watching Newt take down RuPaul was AWESOME!
Attaway, Newt!
O'Bamster was the clear loser.
