Liberal MSNBC Hardball host Chris Matthews is known to throw some jabs at Republicans during his daily show. But the commentator has become increasingly critical of Democratic President Barack Obama, the same man whose words used to give him a Thrill up my leg. Matthews has an upcoming book on President John F. Kennedy but during an interview on Weekends with Alex Witt Matthews went on a rant criticizing the President, and the little kids with propellers on their heads advising him:
What are we trying to do in this administration? Why does he want a second term? Would he tell us? Whats he going to do in the second term? More of this? Is this it? Is this as good as it gets? Where are we going? Are we going to do something the second term? He has yet to tell us. He has not said one thing about what he would do in the second term. He never tells us what he is going to do with reforming our healthcare systems, Medicare, Medicaid, how is going to reform Social Security. Is he going to deal with long-term debt? How? Is he going to reform the tax system? How? Just tell us. Why are we in this fight with him? Just tell us, Commander, give us our orders and tell us where were going, give us the mission. And he hasnt done it.

In a way Obama is standing above the country,
above the world. Hes sort of god. Hes going
to bring all different sides together.

Chris is just unhappy that we still seem to have a Republic (barely). Very disappointed that Obama has not implemented full blown Communism yet.
Sounds like Chris Matthews had a moment of clarity while passing an Obama.
I fixed it for you.
Not to my knowledge. Seems like they’re building up to it, tho. The whole Chrissy thing smells. Of COURSE he’s not turning on Zero. He’ll vote for him in 2012. Count on it!
ROTFLMAO!
That’s good!
Who is going to impeach him? Most of them are too busy running their own scams

That’s right. They have so much dirt on each other that nothing will happen. We’re in a totally corrupt Oligarchy.
Let this be a lesson to Chrissie Matthews that he shouldn’t confuse some tingle in his leg with his mental processes.
Took the words right out of my mouth! :)
I love it when the demons turn on the devil.
Yes, a random act of journalism on his part would be nice. Otherwise, he’s just toying with people.
Agreed. I got the sense he was frustrated by 0bama’s inability to push the radical agenda fast enough.
I have commented on this before. There is an intangible but very important role for the president that I just call "being the president." Reagan and Clinton both loved to "be the president," and they were both good in that role. Being the president means being positive about America, comforting her when bad things happen, being the cheerleader for us up or down. This role doesn't mean pushing any particular legislation, it is the baby kissing, championship team congratulating, turkey pardoning, space shuttle disaster mourning intangibles the Americans need to do collectively, so our president stands in for us.
Obama has absolutely no skills in being the president. He avoids this so much we wonder if he wants to be president at all. Maybe he doesn't, which actually, is fine. Not everyone is suited for it.
Prediction: The joint press conference with Bill Clinton where Clinton took over the whole interview will be historically seen as the beginning of the end of his presidency.

There used to be a hillary.something website back in 2004 that was a circle jerk forum for the left. We used to post that graphic to their complete consternation.
