Rep. Dale Kildee, Michigan Democrat, will be responding to accusations on Monday that he sexually abused his second cousin decades ago. I spoke to Kildee on his way to the airport on Sunday and he denied the charges. The Washington Times affiliated radio program America's Morning News also discussed the charges with the 17 term Congressman who is retiring this year and who previously headed up the now defunct House Page program.

Another case of a homosexual - a Democrat elected to public federal office - molesting an adolescent, 12 years old. Who became mentally ill after being molested, apparently for some time. And then the Dem pervert ran the House Page Program! Fox in henhouse. Sick! More proof that homosexuality is dangerous for OTHERS and homosexuals should be discriminated against! How many teenagers in the House Page program did he molest? And Leftists and some right here on FR want to say that the homosexual agenda doesn't exist or doesn't affect anyone. It affects countless kids and young people whose lives are ruined!!
Homosexual predators never, never just molest once. And then he was in charge of the Page program, already notorious for sexual behavior and remember Mark Foley? He was messing around with Pages.
This is no doubt the tip of the iceberg. And comparing a one time misdeed done out of rage to a homosexual repeatedly molesting a 12 years old share no equivalence at all.

Graduated ‘65. Different school then. Stopped donating in the early 70s when I realized how far to the left it had turned.
Are the charges true? I don’t know much about the Congressman in question.
I have no clue if they’re true or not. I know the name but know very little about the guy.
As much as I enjoy seeing a Rat fry, I despise these accusations surfacing after 15-20 years. Who the hell can defend against it? The court of public opinion has then already decided guilty, just to be sure. Even if decided innocent, they are ruined.

Not at all. But I’m not a police officer, a prosecuting attorney, or a jury, either. I don’t have many facts, except for a news report - and those aren’t famous for accuracy.
Of course, a crime should be punished. An accusation is just the start of the process, not the moment for judgment, though. An accusation made 50 years after the time of the crime is even further cause to hesitate about judgement.
The law will be taking care of the veracity of this incident. My worries are not focused on this incident but the use of the Internet in general to bring forth “blasts from the past.”
I have two worries. First, it is very easy to come from nowhere and make a claim about something that happened a long time ago. Witness Herman Cain. True? Who knows, but it has successfully smeared him. He came into the campaign known for his upright character. Well, that’s been destroyed, based on an accusation from long ago.
Second, it is now easy to find things in our pasts that can be used to humiliate or defame us. Sometimes that means criminal behavior, sometimes unethical or immoral behavior. With the press of a button, a lifetime of repentence can vanish. It is creepy to think that someone can make a false accusation about the distant past.
In any case, the prosecutor will now have to decide what to do. And this guy will always be known as a child molester, whether or not the accusation from five decades old is true or not. If he is, sure, send him to prison and throw away the key.
I think he’s one of the ‘pro-life’ ones, a Stupak clone but in a safer district, Saginaw area.
He’s retiring, his nephew is running in his place. I wonder what the nephew had to do to get his blessing....
Just briefly when they are locked up in the brig, and he exclaims to Spock something along the lines of “what happened to your beard and where’s my personal guard?!” when Spock explains to the good Kirk how they quickly spotted the imposters because it was easier for the civilized to act like barbarians than for the barbarians to act civilized.
But you are right they do look similar, Kildee and Dole.
