Israeli Gadget Masters Threaten Iran

November 17, 2011: Was this another Israeli attack on Iran? On November 12th, Iran lost the general in charge of its ballistic missile program, Hassan Moghadam. He died in a munitions storage site outside the capital, along with 16 other Iranians, when something exploded, leading to many other explosions. All the victims were members of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, and Moghadam was a major general.

At first, the incident was blamed on an accident, even though such catastrophes are often blamed on Israel or the United States. In the last few years, Iran has been less inclined to do that, because they have been taking more losses in their nuclear and missile programs. Key people are being killed, and several computer based attacks (like Stuxnet) did serious damage to nuclear and missile facilities.

Israel is also believed responsible for so many more Iranian weapons smuggling operations being revealed, and prosecuted. As much as Iran liked to blame Israel, they do not want Iranians to believe that the Israelis were that successful.

Within days of the explosion that killed general Moghadam, stories began circulating that the Israeli secret service (Mossad) was behind the explosion. Could Mossad have done it? Could Mossad have gained access to the munitions storage site and caused the explosion and planted a device that would have triggered the "accident"? They could.

Israel might as well do whatever they want because whenever anything happens, they’re sure to get blamed anyhow.

The Persians need a whupping on a regular basis to remind them of their place in the world.

I think the Spartans gave them a beating and now its time for another.

Israel make some of the best remote controlled equipment in the world these days.

I sell some of their 15 - 20 year old technology hardware and it is heads and shoulders above anything offered by US companies.

I can only imagine what their state of the art military stuff is like today.

Make these folks mad and you are likely headed for a dirt nap.

I highly doubt is was Israel. The Muslims have a long history of “Work Accidents”. Don’t think they need much help.

While I agree with the sentiment, your use of the word “Persians” is not apt.

Persians are not in charge in Iran. The islamists are.

I know some Persians. They despise the mullahs running Iran far more than most could imagine...

Yep. When your maintenance programs begin and end with Imshallah, the results are inevitable.

Bravo! That's why I love freepers. They get the nuances when so many others miss it altogether.

STUXNET is alive and well. It went off when, in the general’s Power Point presentation, he clicked on the icon to indicate “this is how it works”.

Sounds like Israelis have taken up residence inside Iranian turbans. A nasty pace to be, but it's the results that count.

A stealthy drone could drop a stealthy bomb right into the middle of a critical rocket fueling operation, or munitions transfer. BOOM!

All of the secondary mega explosions would disguise the origin of the blast.

Just an idea.

If their stuff is liquid fueled it’s probably something along the lines of nitrogen tetroxide and hydrazine,

Waaaaay to easy to screw that pooch from over the horizon.

Also remember the “carbon fiber” payloads we used early in all recent persian gulf conflicts. Power fluctuations etc still spit up sparks to this day when the shamals kick up.

A stealthy uav could spread hate and discontent just apple-seeding that product alone an create a fine state of havoc all around their special sites.

So many sources of disruption...... utilities, food, water, general health, security for themselves and their families due just the implied threat, broken security / tamper seals to cause repeated sampling and testing of suspect products.

Every Cristian In Action sort of agency should be on their game right now using assets to slow down everything that has to be brought to the facilities versus whats already in the facilities.

Gadgets..... the Israeli’s do come up with clever ideas. I wish em all possible success.

Interesting idea. Quite possible, given the current state of the art.

Scattering the carbon fiber electrical disruptors would be even stealthier than dropping single-point smart bombs. Could make it very easy to conduct safe testing for new weapons systems.

The Israelis have a knack for getting out ahead of tech. Their lives depend on it. In 67, they lost the destroyer Eliat to a Styx missile fired from a Soviet-built Egyptian Osa missile boat.

They went on a crash program to develop their own anti-ship Gabriel missiles, and perhaps the world's most advanced EW system. Even though the Gabriels had half the range of the huge Styx missiles, the Israelis just pounded and humiliated the Egyptian and Syrian naval forces. The arabs would launch the Styx missiles, and the Israeli boats dodged every single one with EW, and destroyed so many arab missile boats, that the arabs kept them in port, allowing the Israeli missile boats to roam their coasts, destroying shore targets (POL, freighters in port, etc) with their 76mm guns.

That first night's Battle of Latakia (Syria) is still studied in naval colleges. Outnumbered and outranged, the Israelies destroyed the Syrian missile boats in the world's first missile vs. missile naval combat. In 6 years, the Fighting Jews applied their brain power, and leapfrogged ahead of the Soviet state of the art.

NEVER underestimate the Israelis. They are very smart, and their backs are against the wall.

Typo: Could make it very HARD to conduct safe testing for new weapons systems.
