NEW YORK (AP) Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain says "all of these women are lying" about unwanted sexual advances.
In appearance on David Letterman's "Late Show" airing Friday night, the former pizza executive is again denying any impropriety during his time running the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.

Just watched him on letterman. I hate letterman. Herman held his own and did wonderfully. Cain just shook his head mockingly and laughed at letterman’s inanity.
And when letterman said he was no stranger to sex scandals, I love how Herman leaned forward, grinning, and said “REALLY???” hilarious! He did a great job overall.
Cain can keep on message and still be funny. I liked how he did.
Herman Cain appeared on the David Letterman Show after blowing off the scheduled hour-long interview with the NH Union-Leader?
Am I reading this right?
Good summary, friend. ... What a (CBS) snake pit. Sheesh!
Well, some people are always going to insist upon (or fall for) slick packaging.
Yep, Newt is the smartest man in the room, right? then why is he on all sides of most issues all the time? He should be more principled. Cain was smart to do Letterman and Kimmel. He does well on these formats. Now, as to the antics of Letterman with the women, Newt should understand...he had his own fun with the ladies before he met Callista, right?
The people definately know what the media's doing...the problem is Cain continues to feed their stories. He still hasn't let it rest and for that the media will continue to run with it.....like a fire you don't blow on it and expect it to go out...and that's exactly what Cain is doing....the media is the spark.
I will have to watch it again... will have to find a clip. I don’t think so, but it was very strange... Dave’s body language was clear that DAVE was not extending HIS hand. And as Host, it’s Dave’s job to welcome guests to the show. Maybe I caught it wrong, because I did come in the room a few seconds late. I’ll watch it again.
No. The show was taped the day before.
RE: post # 38, what you said. I won’t comment on whether or not it was smart for Herman to go on that show, but I refuse to watch that a-hole Letterman ever since his statutory rape joke about Willow Palin.
I don’t give a rat’s behind about the sexual allegations but how does one entrust the country to a man who is unaware that China has nuclear weapons?
Cain is blissfully unaware of the world and almost takes pride in this lack of knowledge.
You want someone with a conservative take on economics and a brain. Cain fulfills half of the equation.
Not going to your external URL. Nope. Not doing it, sir or madame.
BOO
Thanks again for all that you are doing, and also ignoring the trolls who need no further feeding and will finally give up and walk away and go back to the RNC or the DNC. (See tagline)
I think Carson used to take off every Monday the last few years and had a string of guests hosts. Letterman and Leno do yeoman work, so I don’t blame L for taping Friday’s show on Thursday.
The interview was brutal because Letterman spent so much time trying to discredit Cain he interrupted him many times. Cain held his own and seemed to say what he needed to say. L did give him 3 rounds (segments).
Cain said a couple of times “Dave you’re not going to talk me out of running.” He was responding to the tone L was taking. “You can’t win and even if you do, you won’t be able to do anything.” I guess Dave is implying you have good ideas, but not gonna happen. LOL!
uhh... Hildy, I hate to break it to you, but Cain is running for President of the United States. And Letterman has a lot of..uh... VOTERS, watching his show. Thats the whole point of running. You talk to voters.
The mark of any good politician is their ability to hold their own against a hostile talk show host. If they can’t told their own against a hostile talk show host, then i don’t have much faith they’d hold their own against Putin or whoever’s running China these days.
What a jerk that Letterman is.....the ‘interview’ was one big hit piece.
