I think they got it wrong. The main message of the ad series is peace, unification, etc, In general, they put people of opposite spectrum in politics, religion, and so on. 0bama and Chavez belong to a same side of the spectrum. Politically, they are bed mates already.
Especially since the photos weren't Photoshopped.
Actually, for once I agree with the WH. This is a nauseating ad campaign (photoshopping photos in the public domain to present mostly same-sex world figures smooching) and the Vatican is actually suing for the one depicting the Islamic mufti soul-kissing BXVI.
It’s disgusting and I don’t think being a public figure should mean that your image can be manipulated at will for advertising purposes.
