I doubt that's the reason. Here in New York City, at least, they use the name of the controlling group: Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). I remember a time when they would try to hide the fact that they (the 'peace' groups) were promoting Socialism and Communism.

I’m not sure what their thinking is. I did note that A.N.S.W.E.R. is not floated as much as it used to be, in fact hardly at all. Your observations aside, I can’t imagine another reason for it.

I’ll have to admit to thinking Soros has funds mingled with this mess too.
