I’d sure like to see an audit of the funding for this organization, and if it’s a tax exempt entity, I’d like to see some prison sentences.

I think CANSWER is still its own entity. I definitely saw some of their signs in the crowds when this thing started.
ANSWER is still around. They were founded by Workers World Party in 2003. An offshoot of WWP (Party for Socialism and Liberation) now officially controls them. Workers World Party is a major organizer of the "Occupy Wall Street" slimefest.
