I used to like Ann Coulter, but she went to hell in a handbasket.
Heck, I am no longer certain that Ann is even a girl.
Amen! He looks good!
Amen! That's why I'm opposed to trashing any of our candidates. State your case why you don't like them but don't call names and say hateful things.
We have to get Obama out of the WH or we're toast.
“Newt wins again.”
Yes, he won. We must have him to defeat Obama. Perry wasn’t thinking and speaking - he was only speaking what he had rehearsed. That’s one of his problems - he can’t think under pressure. I regret that, but it’s the truth.
Our country must be saved from destroying itself and I think Newt is the only answer.
I don't hate Rick Perry and have said so many times. I hate his politics.
And I have made clear who I support. It's even in my tagline.
The bar was set pretty low for Cain for tonight’s topic and I doubt he will be hurt by his mediocre performance.
I think we all need to realize that this whole debate thing, while important, is not going to be what “sells” the candidate to most of the voters ...they aren’t even listening right now. Newt is by far the best debater; but, he will still be perceived by the average voter as a pudgy old white guy who is somewhat condescending and boring. I find the guy fascinating; but, he would put my wife to sleep in about 30 seconds.
"PLEASE, do you know of anyway/place a guy to see the entire debate on the net??????"
Youtube: "This video has been removed by the user." Was it too embarrassing for Scott Pelley and CBS News?
Yeah, but sometimes it’s hard for a small woman to exude strength, especially when she’s standing on that stage with all those big guys. I don’t think people do it consciously, but I think people tend to pass her over and keep their eyes on where most of the heads are at.
Maybe I’m projecting. I’m a small woman myself and sometimes I feel left out when I’m in a group of tall guys.
Well, maybe so, although yesterday he was very forceful and eloquent and happy on Neil Cavuto’s show. It’s just kind of strange. I hope he’s feeling ok.
Yeah, I don’t think women like him. My 30-year old daughter won’t consider him.
as in kick the illegal aliens out...
Newt has a great history overall and one which well surpasses any missteps taken. ..and you are absolutely right that Newt lead the Republicans to keep Clinton's feet to the fire time and time again..and that successfully.
There's no doubt Newt has the ability to MOVE Congress...to act. History again shows this. He'll chew Obama up in any debate...and he has a huge head-start above all others in how to maneuver the halls of Washington.
I say this because not only is it true but we need someone who can laser strike the damage Obama has done from the moment his feet hit the ground....he knows where to go to get the action he needs...and who is who that will open wide the door for those actions....
Further Newt has nothing at all to loose by giving it his all, and no doubt he will, at turning this ship around, he won't be running again...he has nothing politically that would stand in the way as others who would be making decisions based on their political future....this is the future for Newt and so he will no doubt make it count.
No question he is 100% for our nation....he genuinely loves our country. He has seen where it has been, what it can be, and what it should never be...and that goes for the halls of Washington as well. With our nation in such peril there simply is no other who can take the reins and do the job of bringing this nation to it's rightful place once again....and that he can begin quickly as soon as his feet hit the ground....no learning curve.
His health will be a huge question mark in a general election. I’ve heard comments about it since stage 4 colon cancer that metastized to the liver is usually unbeatable for the long term.
[Try to keep up, will you? ]
I keep up very well, have followed the whole thread and every 10 inches I run into another “hate Perry” post - by you. It seems to be your only reason for being here.
He was my man until he called me heartless. His attempt to walk it back failed to comfort me.
In full disclosure, I have known Newt (slightly personally, more so as a professor) since I attended West Georgia College in 1970 and even lived in his district long enough (he was later gerrymandered out ) for him to become the first Republican I ever voted for. (the treatment of Clarence Thomas was my last straw)
I also voted for Cain in 2004, so I've got two dogs in this fight, but Newt is my first choice since I think it is about time that we had a really smart person holding down the job in the Oval Office.
I didn’t see him on Cavuto’s show, but did think he seemed more ‘quiet’ tonight.
Prove me wrong. Tell me what country Iran has attacked since ancient times.
