I am building a personal database of quality small business suppliers that do not collect tax, and will do business directly even before Amazon is stupid enough to pull the trigger and become a tax collector for every useless government employee in the country.

Do you have that list? I would be interested in seeing it. I would be interested in doing business with merchants who didn't collect sales tax.

I agree that Amazon may be making a mistake... but they also could figure that they are now so big that nobody can stop them.

More states are legislating the collection of online sales taxes.

My state did this year. I think it starts next year — for ALL online purchases.

It is coming. And next year, more states will need new sources to make up their shortfalls.

I applaud your effort. It is truly distressing how the parasite class NEVER stops in their greedy desire to steal more and more of our income. It is truly legal plunder on a grand scale.
