Police have launched an investigation after a man was caught on video knocking out an older man at the Chicago Avenue Red Line stop while others laughed and mimicked the attack.
The assault occurred in April, but the video has only recently surfaced on the Internet.

A bully like that won’t last long in population and usually will be picked on himself by the real bad ass cons. I have a friend in a max security facility that can vouch for this. If he tried this antic where I live he would be dead or dismembered before the cops got him.
You're absolutely right......I have a CCW permit and carry my gun in my car at all times because of the increasing incidents of road rage where I live. (just north of Detroit).
These attacks we read about are random, spur of the moment incidents and having a firearm on my body won't protect me. The only thing I have going for me is my athleticism and trying to be aware of anyone around me who may be thinking me as a potential target.
Here's an example, about a year ago I was in my local Meijer shopping center with a hand basket filled with groceries when I saw 4 black females walking towards me laughing and joking and forcing other people with carts to go around them.
They knew what they were doing.....So as they approached me, I moved close to the rack of groceries.
As they got closer, the female closest to me deliberately moved to her left in an attempt to make me back up against the shelves so as to let her pass.
That didn't work so well for her since I was watching her every movement. Just before she got to me, I swung my heavy basket back and brought it forward just as she reached me and nailed her in the knee.
I immediately offered my apology and walked off as they were yelling at me.
So the lesson here is that you can't always rely on your sidearm, you have to be paranoid enough to view anyone around you as a potential threat and prepare yourself to act in the event something happens........
It's a sad commentary on life but that's just the way it is...........

That is absolutely correct. These animals view it as a minor inconvenience. A mere pause in the action, if you will.

The police will probably charge the old man with loitering or vagrancy.

That might be the case, however the video clearly shows the thug went out of his way to pursue the old man with the intent of “starting something”. Of this, there can be no doubt. The old man became a target for recreational violence.

That's not a prison offense and the punk won't see max security, it's unlikely he'll even see local jail time.......
