Pressed by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Tex., during Wednesday testimony before the Senate Judiciary committee, Attorney General Eric Holder declined to offer his apologies to the family of slain border agent Brian Terry.
Under Holder's leadership, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ran Operation Fast and Furious, under which thousands of guns were allowed to "walk" to Mexico, where they wound up in the hands of Mexican drug lords. At least two of the weapons were found at Terry's murder scene.
Today, Politico's Tim Mak reports:
Eric Holder has told the family of slain U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry that he is “sorry for the loss of your son,” according to a private letter from the Attorney General obtained by POLITICO.

Holder wasn't sorry when it happened and isn't sorry now. Even when Holder's in prison he'll only be sorry he got caught. Had Terry been black, Holder may have been sorry.

Because hamsters have bigger balls then the republican clowns in Washington.
They're too afraid of what the mean old MSM might say about them if they make too many waves and then they wouldn't get re-elected and get to enjoy all the perks of the ruling class in DC.
We'll see what happens with this but I don't have any confidence that they will hold these criminal liars in the White House and DOJ to any real justice.

A sad day when righteous people don’t want the “law” anywhere near them.
The “law” has been turned on its head.
And, my sorry ass should be thrown in prison until the end of time for causing his death and for allowing the New Black Panthers to take a walk, too. At times, even a commie scum like me has to come clean.
He won’t be “sorry” enough for me until he’s being passed around in Fed Prison like a party favor by a bunch of Aryan Nation types.....

It is usually called “Serpent Holder”, which he is.
Yada, yada, yada, whatever. This only makes him look worse, if that’s possible.
An AG that cared anything about the agents under his authority would speak personally (not send a letter) and privately (not make a photo-op out of it) and give his condolences to the family of every agent killed in the line of duty no matter what the circumstances were immediately upon being informed of the death. A responsible AG would know about the death of every and any agent within hours.
If Holder quits, we will get a Holder clone to replace him. If he stays, he is an albatross for Obama in 2012.
One good thing is that the publicity will make it less likely for Obama to put him on the SCOTUS.
