DA Ray Gricar was missing in 2005. No apparent reason was found. His hard drive was destroyed on puposes. Now apparently one reason pops up
-Either he was about to go after Paterno/Spanier/etc and crew(and they ordered him murdered -He was complicit with them and about to be found out
1999-Paterno, AD, Pres Spanier work a deal so then Defensive Coordinator at the top of his game walks away after caught doing stuff. He was sent to run a Child's Foundation (gasp)
2002-PSU assistant sees Defensive Coordinator molesting kid. He reports to Paterno who tells inner circle(Pres,AD,others complicit). Nothing happens.
2005-DA disappears for no reason. Could he have been either investigating the case or complicit and about to be found out?
At 11:30 a.m. (EDT) on April 15, 2005, Gricar called Patty Fornicola, his live-in girlfriend, to inform her that he was driving through the Brush Valley area northeast of Centre Hall.[9] Fornicola reported Gricar missing 12 hours later when he failed to return home.[9]
Gricar's car, a red MINI Cooper, was discovered the following day in an antique store parking lot in Lewisburg.[10] His county-issued cell phone was inside, but his laptop computer, keys, and wallet were missing, and there were no signs of foul play.[8] Police and family members noted that the location Authorities searched the river and its banks in the days following the vehicle's discovery, but found no sign of Gricar.[8] Pennsylvania authorities asked the FBI to analyze Gricar's bank accounts, credit card records, and cell phone records, but found no clues as to where he may have been.
On July 30, 2005, fishermen discovered Gricar's county-issued laptop computer in the Susquehanna River beneath a bridge between Lewisburg and Milton. A Pennsylvania State Police computer expert analyzed the computer and found that its hard drive was missing. Two months later, a hard drive was recovered on the banks of the Susquehanna River about 100 yards (91 m) from where the laptop was found and is believed to be Gricar's; however, it was badly damaged and analysis by the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, and the firm Kroll Ontrack – which had successfully recovered data from a hard drive recovered from the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster – were all unable to recover any data from the hard drive. In April 2009 Bellefonte police revealed that before his disappearance, Gricar used his home computer to perform internet searches on topics such as "how to wreck a hard drive", "how to fry a hard drive", and "water damage to a notebook computer".
I guess I could supposes the HD was destroyed on puposes, but I’ll need more facts before I knows-es.

Wasn’t Gricar also investigating the child abuse cases by Jack Harclerode of Lewisburg’s Bucknell University? I remember that going around when he disappeared.
Just did some research on D.A. Gricar — spooky — this guy looks familiar to me, like I have seen him somewhere. Could it be he’s hiding out, been bought off, and thinks nobody will know who he is. Now with his face being shown in the news — if he’s out there — he’s sure to be found.

I wish the investigators in the Sandusky case would seriously look into a pedophilia ring in Pennsylvania.
I think Gricar’s disappearance has something to do with Harclerode and his connections.
Harclerode was still an active pedophiliac in 2005 when Ray made his last trip to Lewisburg. Harclerode still had the key to his office on the Bucknell campus (in Lewisburg, about a mile or two from the Antiques Mall.) It was in this office that he abused dozens of boys right up until his arrest in 2007.

You really think the only case Gricar ever had was the 1998 accusation? He ran away from something but it certainly wasn't Penn State........
He still had a key to his old office?!? Bucknell should be ashamed of themselves!! Anyone who knows about an abuse against a child should be ashamed to be alive. I wonder how many of his coworkers suspected Harclerode’s perverted behavior. I wonder how many suspected Sandusky....
Maybe Gricar will come forward one day.

Child porn charges filed against former MU math instructor

MANSFIELD - One count of distributing child pornography, a federal felony, was filed against Mansfield University assistant professor Daniel W. McKee, 39, Nov. 9, following a year long state police and FBI investigation targeting individuals trading child pornography.
According to a public information report released by state police Sept. 24, 2010, McKee’s residence at 84 7th St., Mansfield, was searched by police following an investigation into a child pornography sharing ring between June 26 and Sept. 22, 2010.
During the investigation, according to the release, picture files showing images of child pornography were downloaded.
A follow-up investigation traced the download to McKee’s residence.
Seized items including numerous computers and other digital media, showed several more files containing child pornography, police said.
McKee intends to plead guilty to the charge, which means he knowingly distributed sexually explicit images of a minor or minors, said Assistant United States Attorney Wayne P. Samuelson, who is prosecuting the case.
